I think that maybe there was the local program of his dad's that he might have been on prior to this appearance in 1970. But, I haven't ever seen any videos of those.

There was, but there's apparently no record of this. He used to go on his dad's show at special occasions dressed as an Easter bunny or a leprachaun.

Well that date must be well after it was made because he would have been about 15 at that time of the date given there.
Prolly was made a few years earlier, cause none of the boys seem older than 5 to 12 years old. Ada is a year older than George and she clearly is very young there.
But in those days, films could take forever to get ready for output of any kind as there were no computers then to assist with editing. My son was 11 years old before he had his first at age 11. That would have been in 1981. And personal computers were just starting to come out around that time...

Someone else has mentioned that this show is actually from 1970, not 1976.

1970 sounds about right to me. I am the same age as Ada and I was 10 at the time.

Yes, that was from 1970. Uncle Al was a local children's show in Cincinnati from 1950 to 1984. Nick Clooney began his talk show in 1969, so this was from early summer 1970. This flim clip was taken near the Ohio River at one of those marina along Kellogg Avenue.
