"weight of the world..." I don´t think it shows in the pics, does it. It can be a lonely business what he is doing.

He only looks good in a suit in a nespresso ad.

I dunno about 'weight of the world'. He looks older nowadays for obvious reasons and therefore not as fresh.

Could be he looks older because of pain. My sister looks 10 years older than she did last year because of pain. That accident he had doing Syriana caused a serious injury. It's pretty amazing he's still walking. Between the headaches and backaches, I don't know how he does those red carpet events. All I know is when I have a migraine or a backache, it's hard to look happy.

Just to clarify, I meant he looks older in pictures now (when he's aged 51) than in the pictures in this thread which were taken 10 or more years ago. That's what I meant about him looking older now, because of course he is older and your face naturally changes.

I don't think it's the weight of the world that's showing on his face, just the effects of age. I still think he looks pretty damn good for 51, but obviously not as good as he did at 40.

I have to say when I look in the mirror it's a shock! Aging sucks! (-:

I have to agree with Katie. I think he looked his best in his late thirties/early forties - but he still looks pretty good today. (If only he would lose the fuzz! I can't help it - it makes him look just like my Grandpa!)

It was nice to see him wear colors, too. The black gets awfully boring, and he sure is pretty in pink! And I don't think his cute little butt has gone anywhere. It just gets lost in those saggy, baggy dad jeans.

Lizzy, if the pic is from 2001 as the heading says, it was long, long after Balsam and long, long before Amal. So maybe the year/Ocean's reference is wrong. He looks awfully young there.

I think those pics are location shots from Oceans 11.  Looks like George is on set and the ring is probably the one he wore in the movie.

That just occurred to me. I was thinking "why would he wear the ring off-set?", but if the reporter came to the set for an interview he'd still be wearing it. Makes sense.
