Did George Clooney date real housewife Carole Radziwill??

Just watching Real housewives of New York. Seems our boy George dated Carole Radziwill one of the new wives for a year. not sure when but she seemed to confirm it on twitter. Anyone else here this before??

I don't know, TNMC. Was Mrs. Radziwill formerly a stripper, porn star, wrestler, or cocktail waitress? If so, it's definitely possible. Just kidding (kinda).

Carole DiFalco began her news career at ABC in New York in 1986 as an unpaid intern in postproduction for 20/20, a news magazine show.[1] She was later assigned to "Close Up" as a production secretary. She eventually worked for Peter Jennings's documentary unit, producing shows on abortion and gun control, and covering foreign policy stories in Cambodia, Haiti and India.
In 1991, Carole DiFalco was stationed in Israel and reported on the SCUD missile attacks during the Gulf War. In 2003, during the War on Afghanistan, she spent six weeks in Khandahar, embedded with an infantry unit of the 101st Airborne Division. She produced segments for an ABC-TV show called Profiles From the Frontline. She has won several awards, including three Emmys, one for a story she produced on land mines in Cambodia, and a Peabody.[citation needed] .

Radziwill was born to a lower middle class Italian American family.[2]
On August 27, 1994, she married fellow ABC News producer Anthony Radziwill in East Hampton, New York.[3] Radziwill was the only son of Prince Stanislas Radziwill by his wife, Lee Bouvier[3] (younger sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis). He died on August 10, 1999 at age 40 after a five-year battle with cancer.
Radziwill was close friends with Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, who was married to her husband's cousin John F. Kennedy, Jr. Bessette-Kennedy and Kennedy Jr. perished less than four weeks before her husband's death.

After her husband's death, Radziwill left ABC News to write a memoir about her childhood, her career at ABC News, as well as her effort to manage her husband's cancer. What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love (Scribner, 2005) made the New York Times Best Seller list. A review of the book in the New York Times called it a "bittersweet account" that emphasized "graciousness over disclosure".[4][5]
In 2006, Radziwill signed with Glamour magazine to write a monthly column called "Lunch Date". Her Lunch Dates have included former mayor Rudy Giuliani,[6] and Hollywood actors Antonio Banderas,[7] Rachel Weisz,[8] and Alec Baldwin.[9]
Radziwill joined the cast of Bravo TV's The Real Housewives of New York City in season 5.

That was a doomed relationship from the get-go. Not only does she sound intelligent, but she's not young enough to be his daughter. Unless they dated when teenagers, I'm surprised it lasted a year.

She does seem to be sexually open and adventurous so that probably got her the year

We know that beautiful new Real Housewives of New York cast mate Carole Radziwill is dating rock star Russ Irwin, but who knew that she also used to romance one of the most handsome men in the world?

On this week’s episode of RHONY, Sonja Morgan let slip that Carole may have slept with George Clooney.

“Look at the a** on Carole,” Sonja said while admiring Carole’s rear on the beach. “No wonder Clooney did her for a year.”

Granted, Sonja was loosened by one (or two) shots of banana rum, so she could have just been exaggerating, but the idea doesn’t sound that far-fetched to us. With her beachy waves, skinny little arms, and intelligence, Carole totally strikes us as Clooney’s type. Plus, we know that Carole used to work for Leslie Cockburn, an American journalist and mother of Olivia Wilde, who also happens to be a friend of the Cloonz, so the two have probably crossed paths. And what man would pass up the chance to flirt with Cool Carole?

Carole’s pal Aviva Drescher played off the Clooney accusation. Aviva tweeted: “What was Clooney doing for you for a year? Your taxes?” Ha!

For what's it's worth, a quick search for Geroge Clooney and Carole turns up zero romantic results. Hmm.

I doubt he "dated" her i.e. took her out in public for dinner and such but hook up with her and shag her as he blew in or out of New York? that's definitely possible.

Was watching the show myself last night and was surprised when Sonia said that Carole and George dated for a year. Naturally the Internet is on fire but nothing much from Carole herself, except this article from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]


".....Excuse me? Clooney? Did she just announce that Carole had some sort of long-term affair with George Clooney? Now that would be interesting. She's certainly beautiful and charming and cool enough for it to be true (they don't call her "Cool Carole" for nothing), but how could this just be coming to light now? Enquiring minds want details. Carole Radziwill of Real Housewives Hints at Past Romance with George Clooney

Did George Clooney date Carole Radziwill of “The Real Housewives of New York City”?

Fellow “Housewives” star Sonja Morgan seemed to drop that bombshell on Monday’s episode, casually remarking while watching Radziwill on the beach, “Look at the a** on Carole. No wonder Clooney did her for a year.”

Wait… what?

Neither Morgan nor Radziwill offered any additional details about the alleged Clooney relationship, and given the cast’s penchant for drinking and gossip, the revelation is tough to take completely at face value.

On Twitter, however, Radziwill stirred the pot while staying coy.

“I don’t kiss and tell but if I did I’d say Clooney was a very good kisser,” wrote the “Housewives” star, adding, “But I’m not saying… just saying. #RHONY.”

I don't watch the show, but maybe one of you does - has she remarried since her husband's death? How is she still a "housewife"?

Missa they don't have to be married to be on the show. She never remarried after her husband, became a published author.

I've watched her on this season and she seems to be the least dramatic and reasonable of the housewives. Doesn't seem like she would be George's type, doesn't earn her living posing,dancing,etc.

If, as Katie suggested, it was a relationship he kept quiet, that's very interesting. It almost proves what many of us have said: the pole-dancing lingerie modeling "actresses" are just PR/good time girls, while the more accomplished women to whom he's really attracted are kept private. And if he really did travel to NYC just to see her, with no other real reason to be there, as Katie mentioned, it would prove that for a "real" woman, he'd make the effort.

I hope this is true, just to restore my faith in George.

I've always believed that the public ladies were always a device to keep the private ladies private. We all know he is a complicated man with many diverse interests. Never thought the public ladies could satisfy the intellectual side of him.

I agree. I was just starting to think he had no interest in satisfying his intellectual side. I guess even if this is a true story, it happened years ago, and he has pretty much bounced from one lacking choice to another. It doesn't seem like there's been much time for a private relationship for a while.

I guess her choice of words could be seen as a little juvenile, although as TNMC said, it was really a play on words. I have to say, I'd take the accomplished journalist/writer who's occasionally juvenile (as George himself can sometimes be), over the last couple of girls, who basically take their clothes off for money.

You're right, George dates around and we often don't find out who he's been seeing. In this forum you can read about an Irish broadcast journalist he apparently dated at some point as well as a stripper (also here in this forum), neither of which was ever public. Teri Hatcher (she's also got a thread in this forum) was also kept private. I'm not sure that any of these relationships lasted much longer than a month or two.

When I first saw this story, I immediately recognized this woman’s last name (Radziwill), but I also thought to myself, “Of course this Real Housewife bimbo could not be in any way connected to Princess Lee Radziwill, sister of Jackie Kennedy Onassis.” But Carole Radziwill IS a relation… by marriage. Princess Lee’s son Anthony married Carole in 1994. Anthony died in 1999, just a few weeks after his first cousin John F. Kennedy Jr. and John-John’s wife Carolyn Bessette perished in a plane crash. Anthony battled cancer for years, and once I put a face to the name, I remembered seeing Carole Radziwill promote her memoir on Oprah, and how sad her story was. I guess Carole and Clooney dated after she was widowed and before George’s string of cocktail waitresses and “models”. Which would put it sometime in the early to mid-aughts. He was single, she was single, so it’s not scandalous or anything. It does make me think that George Clooney might have something of a Taylor Swift-like “thing” for the Kennedys too – dating Jackie Kennedy’s nephew’s widow? For real, Cloons? Other than that… I’m kind of impressed that at some point in his life, George dated a woman with an education and a career that required more than “turning her face to the light”. Of course, that woman did end up becoming a Real Housewife, so maybe she wasn’t so different after all. George Clooney and Gerard Butler are the same – they’ve both boned Real Housewives. Think about that.

It's me it's a reality show on TV, the one Carole is on is called The Real Housewives Of New York.

Wish these type of dates were more well known instead of the ones we hear or see of , well you all know, why name them.
