Stacy to appear on Project runway

Found this article, it more about Rosie Huntington whitely no longer being the host for project runway but mentions that Stacy appears as a guest judge on the upcoming season. Guess now she can add fashion icon and expert to her resume.

According to Page Six, Project Runway producers, Weinstein Co., had to scramble to find a new host for the show, which is when they signed up Murphy just days before the cameras started rolling.

"Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host. Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She'd charmed everyone. But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do 'Mad Max,' creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie," a source told the newspaper.

While a source close to Rosie has argued that she was "never fully committed to the project and there was no signed contract."

The Lifetime series began filming in early June with Isaac Mizrahi, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman, and Marie Claire's Joanna Coles appearing as judges. So far guests have included Kylie Minogue, Stacy Keibler and Katie Holmes, who filmed scenes for the show last Monday just days after announcing she was divorcing Tom Cruise. It was widely believed that she would cancel her appearance but instead she was "friendly and professional but didn't say a word about her divorce," according to those who were there.

Stacy is not qualified to judge a fashion competiton. George must have called in a favor to Harvey Weinstein. Fingers crossed that this is Stacys parting gift from George!

yeah, I'm kinda with you on that Katiedot. I just can't see her in these as its just not her style. The modeling photos and the game show reps is more her style.

count me in the sceptics as well. I believe it when I see it ; ) though some weird part in me is sort of curious as to how this could play out if true. After all most of the time we see George's girls getting exposure through him, now with such a show Stacy's definitly would have big exposure on her own (plus these shows being regular, that means getting constant exposure, not just "award season"...) that sort of would be new, wouldn't it ? wonder I he would deal with it somehow ?

It would be car crash TV. Do any of the old timers remember Lisa Snowdon when she was a newbie TV presenter? She was dreadful.

I watched the whole thing. It was like seeing that bad car wreck along the side of the road - you don't want to look, but try as you might, you just can't stop.

She reminded me of Paris Hilton.

I don't think she's all that bad. She acts just like most of the vapid, silly interviewers that are on these entertainment shows. They're all eye candy - even Mario Lopez.

no matter how many haters or how much you can hate on Stacy but it doesn't change truth ,from the girl full of fun and very pretty girl she actually is !

Thanks mel for the Project Runway vid. I skipped a lot of it but the parts I caught had a little too much naked, ass and balls questions for my taste. She's reverting to her westling days.

I used to like her a lot and don't hate Stacy but since her ridiculous tweet about food poisoning I'm starting to wonder about her intentions.

I think her intentions have been clear for a long time and it all comes down to the almighty dollar and fame. She will do anything to be in the spotlight.
