The Descendants movie is bound to take audiences by surprise for it will have some fine pieces of performances included in its so The Descendants movie is going to offer viewers the chance to enjoy the onscreen get together of a fascinating cast. Thus a key role will be played by actor George Clooney who is one of the A listed leading stars and in addition to him this will also have the wide screen adorned by pieces of acting contributed by Judy Greer and Matthew Lillard. All these stars are among the most experienced artists in industry so it can be said that this will be a not to be missed movie. With comedy and drama elements captured in it from beginning to end this is going to be a hilarious and funny joyride in many ways.

The Descendants movie star actor George Clooney is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in that industry has today and among the accolades he has won is academy award as well. With this one he will be moving forward to add another fine title to his resume which is already filled with many impressive ones. Judy Greer who had started her career from a small place is an actress who is now one of the most sought after actresses and in this movie she has been given the chance to come up with another fascinating piece of acting for her fans. Matthew Lillard who is well known for his pieces of acting in comedy flick will be another fine actor to watch out in this motion picture.

As the story of The Descendants movie begins it will have a wealthy man who does not have what may be called as a healthy relationship with his children. However he lives to regret it because when he loses his wife in a tragic accident he must re connect with his two daughters. And as he tries to get in touch with his two daughters he realize that he has moved so far from them and some funny and hilarious events take place. With stars like George Clooney, Judy Greer and Matthew Lillard included to give life to key roles this is going to be a laughter packed comedy movie experience.

Isn't that called a dramedy? My perception is that they deal with very dramatic events in a somewhat comedic way? Given that George is a father to two daughters is and of itself quite the comedy...

George Clooney Pops The Question In First Footage From Alexander Payne’s ‘The Descendants’

Nope, not the question you are thinking of. One of our most-anticipated films of the year comes in the form of Alexander Payne‘s first feature since 2004′s Sideways, in which he picked up the Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay Oscar. Based on Kaui Hart Hemmings novel, The Descendants stars George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Beau Bridges, Robert Forster, Judy Greer, Matthew Lillard, Nick Krause, Amara Miller, Mary Birdsong, Rob Huebel, and Patricia Hastie.

Fox Searchlight has just launched a new site titled Who Is He, where they have posted the very first piece of footage featuring a hurried Clooney running around the streets of Hawaii. If you’ve read the novel, you know “the he” in question, but I won’t spoil that here. If you do want to find out, check out Hemming’s extended synopsis of the novel on her site. Check out the clips below by clicking the image and cross your fingers for the first theatrical trailer to debut soon.

The humidity in Hawaii can't get thick enough to slice like pie! If you notice the pavement he's running on is all wet, also his shirt he's wearing is clinging to him.These things aren't difficult to deal with when you consider the beauty of the place,and when your in a swim suit next to water. But in street clothes away from water, you feel as if you've just stepped out of a shower and forgot to towel off!

Fox Searchlight have unveiled this debut poster for Alexander Payne’s (Sideways, About Schmidt) upcoming film ‘The Descendants.’ The George Clooney-starring drama is based on the novel of the same name by Kaui Hart Hemmings.

‘The Descendants’ is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki. ‘The Descendants’ also stars the likes of Judy Greer, Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard, Robert Forster, Shailene Woodley, Mary Birdsong, Nick Krause and Amara Miller.

Look out for the film in cinemas December 16th. Expect this film to factor come Awards season.

You know, it's a beautiful poster and I LOVE the photography, but the first thing that came to my mind was 'old geezer perving over young women'.

Unless you know the film's story, how is the casual observer to know that that's meant to be his daughters in the picture and not just a couple of hot chicks playing in the sand for him to goggle at?

It's a poster for a movie, not about his life. Why bring something like that in? this is why I barely read any gossip or look at pictures of his women. It just works people up. I'm more interested in his work and who he is. Not who he dates and what he does under the covers.
