George Clooney and Stacy Keibler Celebrate His Big Interview With Dinner

George Clooney held Stacy Keibler's hand as they left Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood yesterday. It was a special evening for George, since his Inside the Actors Studio episode aired and he got candid on everything from his home on Lake Como to pranking Brad Pitt. Brad had a chance to chime in on the jokes in his own interview with James Lipton, which took place in NYC last night. Brad continued chatting this morning when he stopped by The Today Show with Moneyball costar Jonah Hill. The duo are talking up their movie in the run-up to the Oscars, where Brad and Jonah are both up for honors and Moneyball is nominated for best picture. Since George and his The Descendants also got a nod, the award show fun between Brad and George should continue on Feb. 26.

In the above pics their hand holding looks awkward. I don't think they have quite the same chemistry as he had with Sarah or Lisa. Also, she looks like she is wearing a small heal, not her ususal stiletto, and she still towers over him.

Looks to me like they were holding hands and he was photographed as he was starting to take his hand from hers.

Wonder why there was only this one picture taken?

Don't know but it looks odd. I like the colour of her top but I do wonder why George isn't in jeans. I think Eli being papped with Steve O could have had something to do with this we have only seen these two out to dinner once before. At least Eli and Steve have their PDA's down George and Stacy still need a lot of work.

I do not think that George is higher than Stacy, in this photo he is one step ahead of her, she does not have very high heels and he is 10 cm lower.

As for the relative height discrepancy in this shot, I think it's him who's lying not her. I don't think he's 6 foot as he claims. Many people say he's around 5'10" (some say shorter, some say taller so that seems to be a good middle bet) and I'd guesstimate that she's in about 3 inch heels which would bring her to 6'1" (5'10" plus 3").

Something that may skew my calculation is this: people's heights vary as they walk depending where in their stride they're photographed. As you take a step forward you rise a little on your foot as you push up. When you put your foot down, your knee bends and you would look a little shorter than usual. When you're halfway through the step (eithr with feet apart as Stacy seems to be in this pic or when both feet are together) your height is about normal as both legs are straight and both feet flat on the floor.

Maybe with his neck injury he shrunk a little? And he was 5 11 but now is 5 10. I hope it doesn't happen to me I'm only 5 2 as it is!

Isn't Craigs Restaurant one of the Restaurants where the celebs go to get seen and photographed outside of it. I know TMZ likes to hang there and ask their questions as celebs leave. I read a review of it and it is a real hot spot for celebs right now.

I'd say yes. If there were reports that they were at a restaurant but no pictures lots of us here would say it never happened.

I find it somewhat disappointing that George feels he has to sell his life to the tabloids like this.

On the most recent inside the actor's studio he says I am 5' 11" when he is talking about basketball. Now what I think is he has shrunk a bit and probably doesn't either know it or is acknowledging it yet. But I believe when we saw him with Anthony Edwards back on ER he was 5' 11" but age has a way of shrinking you in height, and for a lot of people gaining the other way. Not him though so he should count himself lucky.

It's very strange Katie. I wonder if they had people with them which is usual for George and they want to make out they were alone? Or there was no sign of any PDA and didn't suit the romantic evening out story. It does seem very odd.

My post suggesting to look at photo 3 is because its a close up of just the hands since others have suggested prior to this that he wasn't holding hands, but handing her something.

Have noticed over the years his posture has gotten worse, you see alot of photos of him and his upper back/shoulders look curved. More than likely from his back injury and aging never helps our bodies. Think someone reads COH we have just been commenting that their dates only happen in Cabo or Red Carpets and snap we've got date night. LOL only joking!

George always had an upper body slump for years, even when he was in his twenties. I think aging just made it worse.

i think you are assuming that the sidewalk is level, which is very rarely the case.
