She waited in the wings for him while he walked the red-carpet with co-star Ryan Gosling at the L.A premiere of his movie Idles Of Marches, last month.

But last night, George Clooney's new girlfriend Stacy Keibler was front row and centre as the couple made their first official red-carpet debut at the New York premiere of his new film, The Descendants.

While most women may have been nervous about the big moment, the 32-year-old blonde was anything but, slipping into a sheer black gown, which was slashed to the thigh, for the occasion

George, 51, looked like the cat that got the cream as he showed off his confident lady to the crowd at the 49th Annual New York Film Festival, held at Lincoln Center.

Stacy's racy dress clung to the former wrestler's curves and featured a sheer cut-out pattern on the front and rather large split, which strategically ended right at the top of her thigh.

The 5'11 blonde let her halterneck frock do all the talking by paring the ensemble with minimal accessories, including a simple black clutch and modest earrings

Looking toned and tanned, the actress and model was simply glowing, wearing neutral make-up and her blonde tresses in a simple hairstyle.

Meanwhile, George looked dapper in a charcoal suit, which he paired with a white shirt and navy tie.

He couldn't keep his eyes off his new girlfriend, holding on tight to her and not once letting go.

The couple went public with their relationship last month, and ever since, George and Stacy have had no problems showering each other with affection in front of the cameras

The loved-up pair were pictured arriving in Mexico last week, and they clearly couldn't keep their hands off of each other.

The former wrestler hugged her famous beau and whispered sweet nothings into his ear after they landed in Cabo San Lucas.

George had whisked the leggy blonde away to enjoy some quality time together as their romance continues to blossom.

Stacy looked smitten with the actor and hugged him tight whilst clutching her passport.

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant also tweeted a photograph of the couple's getaway destination with the caption: 'Chasing the last days of "summer" #paradise.'

No doubt George had whisked his girlfriend away to the idyllic location to celebrate her 32nd birthday, which was on Friday.
The couple reportedly checked into the Puffy Taco Resort & Casino which is co-owned by TV personality, Ryan Seacrest and Aerosmith front man, Steven Tyler.

The resort is described as the most luxurious hotel in Cabo San Lucas with each of the rooms, including a state-of-the-art Olympic-sized jacuzzi, only the best for George and his girl.

He and Stacy made their first public appearance together last month at the Toronto Film Festival, but before that went to great lengths not to be photographed together as a couple

With those you could put it down to the fact that he's further away from the camera, but even when they're side by side, if she's got heels on she looks gigantic. I don't know that it's so much that he looks small, because he's in proportion to other men in associated pics, but she looks huge compared to everybody!!!???? Strange.

Well, at least he doesn't have to tell her to smile. In the set of pictures posted 7:47 today G looks startled but notice she doesn't even change her smile expression. I think she's even better than george with pap intervention.

Sorry I got stuck onthe hight and kind of blured out the rest. Is it her clothing when it is something form fitting it doesnt hide anything. You can see she is fit, but not thin like most when you can see ribs. Kind of like when they say someone is Big boned! Smile

We will have to watch and see if she goes on a "while I am with george for life cleansing". Then maybe we will see ribs. Sad

Did any of you bother to read the Daily Mail article posted above? I've seen some funny stuff in these tabloid articles, but really, don't they check any facts at all.

Seems that they should have gotten that one right. Didn't they read what all the other tabloids said re: 50th bd.

Wenn, Flynet The Descendants screened at the New York Film Festival last night. Buzz is so strong about this film, and George Clooney’s performance in it (directed by Alexander Payne, his first full length feature since the acclaimed Sideways) has people practically guaranteeing an Oscar nomination. All this on top of The Ides of March which also could contend at the Kodak.

Still, according to the Los Angeles Times, George is losing ground to his friend Brad Pitt, and has been steadily over the years. What? You can read their position on it here. Clooney fans and Angelina Jolie haters will likely disagree. But is it coincidence or conspiracy that after the publication of this article, George has finally given his current piece, Stacy Keibler, permission to stand next to him on a red carpet? Well, to be fair, he’s been grooming her for it for a couple of months now. She was well on her way. And now, as the awards races are taking shape, they’ve decided it’s the right time.

Here they are, posing together, officially, their red carpet debut. Looks like it needs some practice, non? A little awkward. Better work it out now than in January when almost every weekend they’ll have to run the campaign circuit.

Will it last until then?

Well... George made sure to let us know they went to Mexico last week - click here - and now he’s letting her in the front door as opposed to the back entrance which is essentially how it was at TIFF.

You know, at a certain point, it becomes a branding issue. George’s escort classification is always C List and under. And that’s partly to do with maintenance. Stacy Keibler, for example, requires a lot less attention than Jennifer Lopez. I get that.

But what is the consequence to his brand? It’s like ordering an 80 dollar steak and then smothering it in ketchup. Going back to the Brad Pitt comparison - you’ll note Brad Pitt, in companion selection, since becoming a major player, has always kept it at a certain level. For the brand. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie...they’ve all enhanced the brand. In a way that the Italian Queen and Stacy Keiblers of the world simply can’t manage.

3 tips to Stacy:
1) lower heels
2) dresses with shoulder pads larger and more hiding behind (the straps of her dress are suitable for people with normal shoulders) to reduce its shoulders.
3) tight dress with wide skirt because it seems even bigger
The color black is good because it shrinks.
Stacy is cute and sweet but I do not lose them to make it look old, defenseless little George. The right word is ridiculous.

I am going to tell you what I noticed during the last night of NYFF. In one word: stress. I do understand the importance of providing protection for these so called celebrities/public figures because there are crazies out there willing to do just about anything (I am not adding cray cray to this category just yet, hahaha). Granted.

All the days/nights that I participated at the NYFF, I enjoyed and fetl part of the Lincoln Society. It was amazing witht he presence of bright directors, casts and many interesting series about cinema. People were very polite, knowedgeable on the subject and very pleasant. Actors and directors walked next to us without any fuss or disrespectful viewers towards them.

Last night was different. It was the first time in my entire life (31 years of existence) that I felt completely disrespected as a human being, getting yelled at for not being behind a certain imaginary line to the point that (apparently) the head of security apologized. There were people who work for years in the field, film majors, kids + parents and respected journalists from other countries there who got yelled too for no reason , etc. There was no need for the circus. Nobody knew George Clooney was coming, but they created such a circus that they themselves created a certain chaos. They didn't want us to take pictures for whatever reason beyond explanation since every gala night or first screening of every movie, we were allowed to take pictures of directors and cast. Well, they had to give up because people were taking pictures, lol.
Nobody yelled George's name, nobody rushed to see him, everybody was standing still just looking.

So, for what I saw last night, it is not fun to be part of George's Clooney's public life. I cannot understand how these women famewh*re they way in, it speaks volumes about their characteres (or lack of it). Let me tell you this, George will never ever date someone regular with a job outside of the spotlight. I want to be alive to eat my own words, but it's not going to happen!

To finish up, I would like to say I loved every single day/night (with the exception of last night)I was there.
It was amazing seeing Richard Peña talking to Payne about cinema. Shame and a dangerous method, James Woods, Pedro Almodovar, etc. Unfortunately, I did not see separation, in Payne's opinion is the best film of the year. I want to congratulate the organizors of the Lincoln Center. Hopefully, next year the security will be better prepared to get an A-list there and respect the audience. The same audience that paid 50 dollars for a ticket to be part of the gala screening.

ps: I just hope Michael Fassbender does not end up with a secluded life far from the audience like George's life. It was sad to see him taking forever with the media, but not acknowledging anyone on the hall of Alice Tulley. When he was inside of the theater, "he was himself again" (the public person he shows us to be). Pretty cool talking to Almodovar and also walking next to fassie and seeing he can still have a normal life. I hope it continues this way.

So Louislane is that why George looks so stressed out in some of these pictures because the atmosphere in general that he creates is stressfull for security. Was it George and other celebrities that they were worried about or was it just George that you could not take pictures of. It seems when he was walking through the airport and later pictures when he his going somewhere with Rich Kind he looks more relaxed with Stacy. Do you think on the red carpet does he look like he cares about his image or he just does not give a care what the people on the sidelines think of him and Stacy.

George Clooney should get credit for his spot-on Mr. Magoo face and Stacy Kiebler deserves extra points for making her tits look like evil bee eyes, but other than that these pictures couldn't be more awkward and uncomfortable if Elisabetta Canalis ran on the carpet, skinned Stacy, wore her as a suit and then continued to pose with George like nothing every happened. George finally let Stacy pose next to his ass at last night's NYC Film Festival premiere of The Descendants and Sarah Larson better make up the bottom bunk at the halfway house for Clooney's discarded leased pieces, because by the looks of their ice cold chemistry this mess is not going to last.

George has that same "looking for the exit face" you make when you regretfully decide to go to breakfast in broad daylight with your one night fuck piece and are trying to decide whether or not you should go with the "blueberry syrup gave me explosive diarrhea" excuse or the "I suddenly remember I have a dog that needs to be walked" excuse. George is squinting his eyes so hard in hopes that with the power of an imagination and bad eyesight, Stacy will look like the sparkling anus of his soulmate Brad Pitt. It didn't work, obviously.

Lovelylois, the cool photos that Laetval posted seemed to be after everybody left the building. The building was crowded until 11:45 pm , I beleive. They would never walked out that way, so relaxed. George never seemed relaxed at once (except inside the theater when the cast was presented and peharps on the lounge where sisieq managed to get pictures there). Most people who were in the festival are intellectual , well educated people who would not cause problems, they were there for the art. I don't buy george and Stacey, but he is trying to so hard to make them believable that something is wrong and he is allowing her to do many things that they wer enot before. FOr sure theit PRs are reading the blogs, look the amount of transformation cray cray has gone through and she is still not accepted by the public, she has this cheap look of a former lingerie wrestler. No matter, how much they want to flourish her resume on websites and dress her up with the best designers. My natural hair is 10,000 times better than hers and I didn't sort of grow up in the business and I don't have 4 million dollars in the bank. Whatever is going on, he was just rushing through. Do you think he is being threatened? I don't know but he does not feel comfortable to be seen with her in public, that's for sure and if he were he would had brought her to the premiere of ides of march along with his parents. He is getting so predictable that next time, he will bring his parents along with her...lol.

Even if Cray cray and George left righ after he went back to the theater with cast and director, you would see a bunch of people . Unless, they used a different exit (of many) they would maybe just maybe get unnoticed. But I still doubt. One of the people I talked too said that around 12:30 am, two black cars with cops/security surrouding them stopped by the theater and she asked if there was for an artist and they were very rude and said they did not know...Bet was him since the afterparty was still happening. But the employees kept saying he was gone right after, so people would finally leave the theater. I could bet they waited the over a thousand people leave the place.

ps: these photos could had been taken on the lounge...Gotta ask sisieq, I would never be authtorized to be there.

I think not Louislane I really believe George had the snip many years ago. So if Stacy thinks she is going to get her stay at home mum dream with George I think she is mistaken. If she makes it to the awards she won't be around long after. George doesn't usually jump into one long relationship right after another, that's another reason why it's so odd this happened to fast. George managed to look more convincing with Canalis and that's saying something as most of the time he was photographed with her he looked like he was in physical pain.

Seriously though, I believe that he doesn't enjoy the red carpets all that much. Before you all jump in with 'it's his job!', yes it is but that doesn't mean he necessarily enjoys it. He's looked tense on many red carpets when he's been with girlfriends so I think it doesn't matter much who the woman is, he just never looks happy. He does seem to look more relaxed when he's on the red carpet by himself. Dunno why that is.

George Clooney & Stacy Keibler do their first red carpet side-by-side

Well, this should appease all of those critics who claim that George Clooney and Stacy Keibler’s relationship is some massive conspiracy involving an overzealous publicist, a massive amount of Photoshop and every media/gossip outlet in existence, all working in concert to make Stacy “happen.” Yes, George Clooney and his lover Stacy Keibler walked the red carpet together, at last. Stacy has been invited to his premieres twice before - in Toronto and LA - but she wasn’t allowed to walk WITH Clooney. At last night’s New York Film Festival premiere of The Descendents, Stacy finally got her moment with Clooney, in front of God and twenty million cameras.

For the occasion, I have to say, Stacy looked pretty good. One of the things I enjoy about Clooney is that he generally chooses ladies who are not “fashionable” in the Vogue sense. When he makes some lady his “girlfriend,” usually they’re pretty busted in the sense that they don’t have anyone doing their hair and makeup, they don’t really know how to dress for a red carpet, and they tend to dress like Vegas cocktail waitresses (which they sometimes are). Stacy was like that too - her first red carpet appearance as a “girlfriend of” was pretty bad - remember that Frederick’s of Hollywood-style dress? And her hair and makeup have been bad for a while. But last night was definitely a step in the right direction - Stacy wore a very sexy, flattering, black Versace gown that looks great on her figure. The makeup is much better, and the hair… is still kind of busted, but it’s not anywhere near as bad as it was.

So… they’re together. Stop claiming that it’s some massive conspiracy. He’s hitting that. The only conspiracy is about how long Stacy can keep her cray-cray tamped down. Will she make it past the awards season?
