He's worth nearly a billion dollars, and he donates $20,000????? C'mon George- you spend that and more in a month for jet fuel for your constant private air travel.

Good point, Pigpen - except to be fair this wasn't for the village his house is in.
And he's still helping to pay for all the repairs in Laglio village and places nearby after a landslide last year, donated to BeirutRelief for the disaster aid there, donated nearly a million to the NHS and allied causes during covid, and to the local Sonning old peoples home

So many super-rich people just sit on their money and don't pay more than lip service to charity. What George does with his money puts most of them to shame.
