George Clooney's dogs

Ok, I've lost track of George's dogs.  I know Einstein died a while back, but what happened to their other dogs?  This quote from a conversation George had with an onlooker when he was filming on Friday makes it sound like they've only got one dog now:

Clooney then showed off a few photos on his cellphone of his own dog, a St. Bernard named Rosie, named after his late aunt, the actress and singer Rosemary Clooney, before getting back to work

So here's Millie in December 2016 getting a lift from George up his trailer steps on the set of

Surbicon in 2016 when she, Amal and her father came to the set.

No sign of Louie, seen here when they adopted Millie

Could it be that they keep different dogs at different places? Aren't there quarantine rules for pets that would make it hard for them to take the dogs with them when they move from one house to another?

Also, wasn't there something about Amal giving him a couple of cocker spaniel pups when they got married or engaged or something?

It is on here that millie died I don't know about louie.. They seem to adopt older dogs. Rosie is the only puppy they have adopted that I have heard about.  He left Rosie behind when he went back to England so she could be trained, I'm guessing
angel takes care of his dogs when he isn't there.

To be honest I don't think George would have to quarantine his pets simply because of who he is. I could be wrong though
I don't know how strict they are.

Louie was an older pup when he adopted him, and that was before Amal, so chances are he’s no longer with us. I’m pretty sure it’s posted somewhere on here that Millie passed away as well, so I think Rosie is their only current pup. I’d be surprised if she didn’t travel with them to Boston though if they’re going to be there until mid-spring.

Do we know if the whole family is in Boston, or just George?

I guess I just assumed they were all together, based on the previous article posted here that said the production expects to be in Boston until May. Can't imagine he'd be away from them for that long, and constant cross-country travel for visits would be super irresponsible (and maybe not allowed) given the "COVID bubble" they're supposed to keep while shooting.

I also remember that Millie passed away not that long ago.  I thought George and Amal adopted Louie together but not totally sure about that.  I remember him being with Amal on a leash and going to the set of ‘Money Monster’ in NYC to visit George.

There is no mention of when Louie was adopted . Donnamarie your right he was with Amal and Einstein.

I remember him saying when he did the interview with Joel Stein in LA recently that Rosie was

off to doggie training (not sure he used that phrase!) for six months while they were in the UK.

Must be quite difficult for the family for the moment, given Alexander's asthma, so maybe he's

commuting to London or New York each week.

Maybe we'll find out tonight if he presents at the Golden Globes........

PAN - I remember reading a while back that there was a six month quarantine period to bring animals into the UK. Is that true? Do you think they'd waive the rules for a celebrity like George?

No, Lizzy, but they have to have all the necessary vaccinations including the rabies one a full

month ahead of travelling...so he could put them as many as he liked on his plane!

I think it all changed about fifteen years ago, but unless you needed to do that you wouldn't

know. I gather Lewis Hamilton has two dogs, one in Miami and one in London. The Miami one

really likes the London one so he sends a plane to pick it up!

So much for carbon footprints.....

He is Formula 1 World Champion seven times and at 36 has won more grand prix than anyone

else ever, and holds I don't know how many fastest lap records. He was knighted by the

Queen in the New Year's Eve Honours List. And it all started with his dad taking him go-

karting at 8 apparently..........

His forerunner as Formula 1 record holder is Michael Schuhmacher from Germany who's also seven times World Champion. When Lewis Hamilton tied Schuhmacher's record last year, Schuhmacher's son presented him his father's helmet.
Michael Schuhmacher wasn't able to gratulate Hamilton because in 2013, Schuhmacher suffered a severe brain injury in a skiing accident. After six months he wasn't in coma anymore and is in rehabilitation at home since then. There are no official statements about his health condition, but an arch bishop talked later about his visit to Michael Schuhmacher. He said: " You can feel that he's able to sense visits and that his family's presence is important to him."
So I guess we can all imagine his condition...
