Nothing that any fan of George wouldn't already know, but a really lovely compilation of video clips. What's not to love?

Lovely, Katie. Thanks. I'm not sure they have their figures right as far as the real estate prices go. It seems to me I remember reading that he paid a lot less for the Lake Como property. It also struck me that we never see him driving most of the cars he owns. I wonder which ones he keeps where.

Lizzy , your right he paid less for Oleandra. Also didn't he get rid of the Tesla, I think he had problems with it.

You're right about the Tesla giving him problems, but I'm not sure he got rid of it.

Given the relative accuracy of the piece (tho no mention of the other houses on the lake

that he's bought), it's quite interesting that they've added the NYC brownstone to his

portfolio...........

Have we seen anything to show that he actually bought the brownstone? I thought they were leasing it. And I'm also wondering if they've ever actually lived in the apartment they bought.

Hate to lay this at George's feet, but one of my pet peeves is people buying up real estate they're barely going to use in a place where living space is at a premium. It not only takes needed space off the market, but it drives prices up across the board. IMO, if you're not going to use it most of the time don't buy - rent or lease something or stay in a hotel. Rant over. Embarassed

I don't think they bought the brownstone it was a rental. As for the apartment I get what your saying Lizzy, but people who are building are interested in making money not helping those who truly need a home. The city has made it possible for builders to build but they have to have a certain percent go to low income and middle income. Now the problem is what exactly is middle income or for that matter low income.
I found this:
$58,450

A salary of $58,450 or less annually is now considered low income in the New York Metro Area. If you are a single New Yorker earning $58,450 or less per year, you fall under the low income category, according to 2018 estimates released last month by the U.S. Department of Housing (HUD).May 17, 2018
Middle
Above this number up to 175% of the median is considered to be “middle-income.” This means that in New York Cityincome between $103,080 and $150,325 is considered to be middle-income.
