There are rumors that Clooney and Alamuddin’s marriage has been on the rocks. According to Radar Online, the “Ocean’s Eleven” star hasn’t been seen in public with his twins Ella and Alexander for 200 days as rumors of his bitter divorce and custody battles swirl around.

“George and Amal have been arguing over their varying lifestyles — and rumors of a rift have been going around for months,” a source told the publication. “She’s all business, he’s all play. They’re like oil and water. They don’t mix — and there’s talk of a possible custody fight over the twins.”

Despite Clooney being an absentee dad, the “Money Monster” star reportedly wanted to be an integral part of his kids’ lives if his marriage with the humanitarian attorney ends in a divorce. He reportedly knows the best lawyers in Los Angeles and could arm himself with the best legal team to keep his $520 million fortune and their twins. However, Alamuddin is also tough and will “likely fight tooth and nail to get full custody of those kids.” The source concluded that things between the couple could “get very ugly.”

The insider added that the lawyer skipped Clooney’s annual Halloween party for Casamigos tequila in Las Vegas last year. Thus, they spent their fourth wedding anniversary apart. Clooney was with her friends while his wife stayed in New York with their kids. The source added that “everyone’s buzzing that George told Amal he wanted out of the marriage!”

Also, Alamuddin allegedly left their marital home and stayed on the island of Sardinia with their children. Insiders claimed that the two have been living separate lives for a while.


One should take the report with a grain of salt. Clooney and Alamuddin’s marriage has been rumored to be on the rocks for years, but they never confirmed it. In fact, there were claims that Clooney cheated on Alamuddin with Julia Roberts which was another bogus claim.

The IBT strikes again. This kind of garbage is their bread and butter. They make up a "source" or a "friend" and then spread the very rumors they disclaim in their last paragraph - or they repeat a made-up story from some other rag and disclaim it at the end of the article., as if to say, "We don't believe it, but these are the rumors." Either way the amount of truth in their stories is minuscule!

PS - Weren't they seen in The Mill fairly recently?

(By the way, I've only seen George in person once. Does that mean that he no longer exists because I haven't seen him since?)

There' a difference between 'hasn't been seen' and 'hasn't been photographed'.
How often have the twins been photographed at all in public last year? I do remember two occasions, one when they left Sardinia after Georges's bike accident, the other one when Amal left a building in New York carrying both twins.
So there are two sets of pics, one with George and one without him.
To make a story out of these rare occasions, is at least rubbish IMO...

Some may find it rubbish, others may find it stellar reporting...

These writers need to make up more interesting crap. This was a head line a while a go which gossip cop disproved.

Nothing earth shattering about that we don't see them often not even with Amal.

This article is a repeat from january 2019 . Of course the twins exist George and Amal keep the kids away from the paps.

This article was posted today.  I have not seen a report that refutes George Clooney has not been seen with the twins over 200 days. So at least that part of the story is true.

Annemarie we all can agree Amal Clooney gave birth to the twins, so we know they exist.

If you google this headline you will see it was first reported january 2019. Ladybug, like all these stories they are simply 

repeated from old articles there is nothing new about them.

Annemarie, all I'm saying is the report George Clooney has not been seen with the twins over 200 days is true.  There is NO way Amal Clooney would fake a pregnancy, we ALL know Amal Clooney gave birth to the twins.

We haven't seen George other than on set so no we wouldn't see him with the kids.

So that part of the article is TRUE not rubbish.

I did not say I thought it was steller reporting.  However, as I've stated I do believe a part of the report is TRUE.  

I'll speak for myself, I have not seen them.  However you and Annemarie seem to know more about the whereabouts of Amal Clooney and the twins than most.  

Possibly. I don't live a million miles from Sonning - but bear in mind this. 

We know that the family have had death threats - and that they take them very seriously

I know what everyone else does,  George and Amal were at home in england in December they went to the show near their home. So I think that is where they are since it is where they live.

What they do is publish pix they're not supposed to - and all taken by paps with unbelievably long lenses from miles away - look how grainy those shots are - who are  usually licensed in another country - and then they too get sued. George is pretty good at that - he 'got' the guys with the drone that he saw near his bedroom window in Sonning

So that was a snap shot of George Clooney in the boat and not a photoshop of George Clooney.

Oh, no! I haven't seen a current pic of the entire Obama family together in a long while. That means *gasp* that Michelle and Barack Obama are headed for divorce! Oh, the tragedy!

It is obviously a photo of George he is holding Alexander. That picture proves the article is old an just another lie.

GDPR in Europe means that photoshop is illegal - so no point in clutching to that particular straw....

PAN your post is from Instagram, not the article itself.  Annemarie, I do believe  "George" is holding Alexander.  I think it's interesting the report George Clooney has NOT been seen with the twins continue to surface.  Most times, when these reports will not go away, they have a ring of truth to them.  

Bottom line:  We know Amal Clooney gave birth to twins, whether George Clooney has or has NOT been seen with them, we know the twins exist.

And where do you think the Instagram post came from?

PAN - You find the most interesting stories. Thanks for posting this one. It reinforces what a lot of us feel about Facebook and the other tech platforms.

For many reasons I do not/will not ever use Facebook. I'm not naive enough to believe the problems can be completely solved, but maybe the kind of reporting Ms. Cadwalladr does might finally lead to effective regulations and curtail the worst of the offenses. Right now it seems like the "power elite" are all in league with the tech companies to grab as much power as possible. Mark Zuckerberg will have a lot to answer for someday.

Ladybug , if you read the articles they are simply repeating the same things. These papers simply copy and paste these stories.

Carole is an amazing journalist who is a feature writer with a national newspaper here and who found herself researching and producing one of the most important stories of our's (and the next) generation. 

I don't think that she ever thought for one minute that she would be standing up on a  huge stage addressing a  massive audience on all things corrupt and illegal - at a Tedtalk full of the captains of all the social media platforms and fake news sites. Impressive and gutsy lady

PAN - I hope her work has enough of an impact to make it worth what she's had to go through. It's a shame that she's been treated so badly. Where's Amal when she's needed? Seems like this might be right up her alley.
