You and a guest will have the exclusive opportunity to meet Oscar-winner George Clooney on February 4th on the set of his latest film project, Good Morning, Midnight, a sci-fi thriller he is headlining and directing.

Spend four hours as the only special outside guests and watch George up close as he works. During a break in filming, George will come by for pictures and a meet-and-greet.  You will also get to meet his co-star, Golden Globe-nominee David Oyelowo.

Seems like an awful lot of conditions, too. I guess they don't want to risk George getting annoyed. He might not want to work with them again. Glad he's bringing them a lot of money.

Speaking of work, I'm confused. I thought GMM was in post-production but this makes it seem like they're still filming. Does anyone know what the actual status of the film is?

What happened with the meet and greet?

Has anyone heard anything about this? It should have happened last week but still nothing in the media?

Lizzy, one of the reasons may be that the Geanco Foundation is the charity running it so it  may be worth looking at their website,  as it's much like Omaze

May be no one was that interested in clooney"s" like before, I think no one want  George or amal picture anymore, not matter of privacy of them but paparazzi and fans not interested any more! .

PAN - Took your advice and went to Geanco Foundation's website but couldn't find any mention of George's contest. Maybe I didn't look in the right places, but I couldn't find anything.

I miss seeing George Clooney out and about.  And I'm use to him being in Los Angeles this time of the year.  I hope we hear from him soon.  

Well I think the paparazzi do not miss him no bodys  celebities in london photos are every where on the Dailymail and for some one working for 40 years like George  it is very odd,  and no pic for amal hehe make me think all amal paparazzi pictures before were actually paid and not wanted!

Lizzy, it just occurred to me that the Geanco Foundation will probably hold that pic until the film comes out because a key member of the foundation is David Oyelowo, who is also starring in the film............

PAN - You may be right. I suppose they'd want to get the most bang for their buck. I'm still really confused about where they are in the process of getting the film done. It seems like they're filming, casting and editing in post all at the same time. I guess it's possible, but it doesn't seem likely.Way too inefficient and chaotic for anything George would do.

Okay, so it looks as though they've just finished filming - and they were due in Iceland for filming in October

HN Entertainment has learned that the upcoming Netflix movie titled Good Morning, Midnight starring George Clooney and Felicity Jones is expected to film primarily at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England.
Also, production on the science fiction pic is said to begin on October 21st and wrap on February 7th, 2020.

There also might be some on-location filming in Iceland, which I assume will double for the Arctic setting.
A scientist, alone in the Arctic, tries to make contact with a spacecraft returning to Earth.
The film was adapted from the Lily Brooks-Dalton novel by screenwriter Mark L. Smith (The Revenant) and will be directed by George Clooney.
The film’s cinematographer is likely going to be Martin Ruhe, who worked with Clooney recently on the Hulu series Catch-22. Martin also worked on movies such as Control, The American, and Run All Night.


We also hear that production designer Jim Bissell is also working on the film. His credits include Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, 300, The Monuments Men, and Confessions of A Dangerous Mind.

Looking at his choices for production designer and cinematographer, it's interesting that George works with the same people over and over again. Martin Ruhe did great work on both "The American" and "Catch 22". I'm not sure what exactly a production designer does, but if they are responsible for the tone of the film then Jim Bissell seems a great choice, too.

It seems like we'll get all our questions answered in a few months. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
