Stamattina, per un paio d’ore circa, l’attore americano è stato avvistato in centro con lo staff tecnico della serie televisiva Catch 22. Clooney è arrivato intorno alle 10,30 ed è rimasto fino a poco dopo mezzogiorno. 
Il sopralluogo con la troupe tecnica ha interessato il quartiere medievale dove più di un passante ha rubato qualche scatto al sex symbol. Piazza del Comune, piazza del Gesù e i vicoli di San Pellegrino, la meta del giro perlustrativo.
Il primo ciack della serie Catch 22 ci sarà nella prima metà di agosto. Poi qualche giorno di riprese fino ad approdare alla distribuzione nel 2019. Sugli schermi italiani ci arriverà, infine, per gli abbonati Sky, sul canale Atlantic.
George Clooney sarà produttore, regista e coprotagonista della serie che segna il suo ritorno sul piccolo schermo a venti anni da E.R. Nel cast anche Hugh Laurie di “Dr. House”.

Dal Lago di Como alla Tuscia. George Clooney sarà infatti a Viterbo nel mese di agosto agosto per girare alcune scene della serie televisiva “Catch 22” – tratta dall’omonimo romanzo di Joseph Heller – L’attore americano sarà coinvolto nella triplice veste di produttore, regista e interprete.
Clooney – che firmerà la regia di “Catch 22” con Grant Heslov – girerà per circa tre giorni tra piazza del Plebiscito e altre location del centro storico viterbese la seconda settimana di agosto. L’occasione per ufficializzare la notizia è stato il lancio del progetto “Tuscia Terra di Cinema” che si propone di promuovere le location della provincia della città laziale e supportare le attività delle produzioni nazionali e internazionali in collaborazione con gli operatori locali.

Sul Lario – terra amata da Clooney, che qui ha la dimora “Villa Oleandra” a Laglio – l’attore americano girò nel 2004 “Ocean’s Twelve”. Nella pellicola diretta da Steven Soderbergh comparirono anche Brad Pitt, Catherina Zeta-Jones (che arrivò a Como accompagnata dal marito Michael Douglas), Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Vincent Cassel, Peter Fonda e Bruce Willis.

From Lake Como to Tuscia. George Clooney will be in fact in Viterbo in August August to shoot some scenes of the television series "Catch 22" - taken from the homonymous novel by Joseph Heller - The American actor will be involved in the triple role of producer, director and performer.

Clooney - who will be directing "Catch 22" with Grant Heslov - will shoot for about three days between Piazza del Plebiscito and other locations in the historic center of Viterbo the second week of August. The occasion to formalize the news was the launch of the project "Tuscia Terra di Cinema" which aims to promote the locations of the province of the city of Lazio and support the activities of national and international productions in collaboration with local operators.

On the Lario - land loved by Clooney, which here has the home "Villa Oleandra" in Laglio - the American actor turned in 2004 "Ocean's Twelve".
