He’s a talk show legend, who walked away from his long-running CBS talk show in 2015.
But now David Letterman, 70, is back with a new show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, that debuted on Netflix last month.
The funny man interviewed George Clooney, 56, for his second episode, at one point hilariously taking the Oscar winning actor to task for not tipping a restaurant employee.

In a promo for the episode, Letterman and the Oceans 11 star lean against a car, eating In N Out burgers by the side of the road.
The pair of multimillionaires are watching planes landing at LAX airport in Los Angeles.
The former Late Show host is telling Clooney an anecdote about his family’s trip to Tokyo when an In N Out employee arrives to give the pair their shakes.

‘Are you with the restaurant?’ Letterman asks the man, who is wearing both an In N Out apron and hat.
The man tells the pair his name is Travis and hands off a couple of shakes.
‘What is that, is that a milkshake?’ asks the Academy Award winning star of Syriana.
‘That is a chocolate milkshake,’ confirms Travis.

The one-time Academy Awards host had former US President Barack Obama as the first guest on his new show.
Letterman’s interview marked the former president’s first television talk show appearance since he left office in January 2017.
Guests slated to appear on future episodes include Jay-Z, Howard Stern, Tina Fey and Malala Yousafzai.

Re: David Letterman shames George Clooney for not tipping
I haven't read about this aspect of their interview before. But I do remember when I actually saw the interview, I thought: "Why doesn't Letterman tip the guy? Why does he blame George for not doing it instead?"
This 'deliver-them-a-chocolat-milk-shake' was a way for the restaurant to self-promote themselves anyway IMO.
