I dont know how to post...but Legion-media (search Clooney)   has some more blurry photos of George and Amal leaving on a jet plane.  No babies seen this time.  The captions say they were headed out of town for Amal's Birthday.

The fail doesn't even try you can see that is not George. On the legion photos Amal is wearing a hat.

Right.  I was checking out George on google before coming here and saw the DF picture.  The man didn’t look like George at all. Even without seeing her face the woman in front didn’t look like Amal.  Ahhh, the Daily Fail fails again.

Lysa Heslov's instagram post claims that yesterday was Ben Weiss' wife's birthday as well. So maybe the two husbands decided to treat them to a surprise trip together.

Just curious...I have seen Ben Weiss and wife pictured with the Clooneys many times.  Does Ben's wife have a name, a career, do they have kids?  Just curious.   I hope they are all having a great weekend.

Ben's wife's name i Leilani I believe. I have no idea what she does.

I thought she was in public relations.  Not quite sure.

JEDDAH: Amal Clooney, Lebanese-born human rights lawyer and activist, and wife of George Clooney, turned 40 this week.
The Hollywood actor, 56, whisked Amal away on a romantic getaway to celebrate her birthday.
George and Amal were seen boarding a private jet in Los Angeles at the start of a surprise trip to a secret destination. It appears the new parents traveled without their young children for the trip in order to get some well-deserved alone time.
George recently opened up about his first meeting with Amal — saying they felt an instant attraction.
The American actor gave an interesting insight into his first encounter with the high-powered lawyer as he appeared on Netflix’s “My Guest Needs No Introduction” with David Letterman.
“‘I didn’t leave the house,” he said. “No, it’s the wildest thing. A mutual friend of ours said, ‘I’m stopping by and can I bring my friend?’”
“And I was like, ‘Of course.’ I got a call from my agent who called me and said, ‘I met this woman who’s coming to your house who you’re gonna marry.’”
He said they “talked all night” and afterwards, exchanged email addresses.
The A-list couple, who married in 2014, are parents to twins Alexander and Ella, born in June last year.
Amal was born in Beirut but moved to the UK aged 2. Her family relocated at the start of the Lebanese civil war in the 1980s.

New parents George Clooney, 56, and Amal Clooney celebrated the lawyer’s 40th birthday with a quick trip to Big Sur over the weekend. The two were seen flying out of L.A. on Saturday, the day of her birthday, and returning around the same time the next day.
It marked Amal’s first birthday since welcoming twins Ella and Alexander last June. The 8-month-old twins arrived just a few months shy of the couple’s third wedding anniversary in September.
George recently opened up to David Letterman about meeting Amal for the first time. The actor revealed Amal was in Lake Como when she came over to his house with a friend.
“A mutual friend of ours said, ‘I’m stopping by and can I bring my friend?'” George recalled. “And I was like, ‘Of course!’ ”
Though there was an attraction, romance wasn’t immediate.
“The funniest thing was my mom and dad were visiting so my parents were there. And we just talked, we stayed up all night talking,” George explained. “And I got her email address, because she was going to send me some pictures of my parents. So we started writing. I didn’t know if she wanted to go out with me — I just thought we were buddies.”

The two would end up talking for weeks afterwards before they would see one another again, George previously said in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “She sent some pictures from when she was here, and we were writing each other, emailing, talking, mostly about what was going on in each other’s lives,” he told the outlet. “And over a period of time it became clear we were more than just friends.”
Their relationship sped up while George was in London and the two got engaged in April of 2014 and married later that year on September 27. Soon after getting married, the couple felt a strong desire to start a family together. George said his entire life changed the moment the twins were born in London.
“It was wild,” he said. “You know, everything is conceptual until it’s real. It’s like, ‘Yeah, we’re going to be parents, yeah.’ And all of a sudden you go: ‘Holy s—. I’m a parent!’ ”

I think this is the first time nothing was said about how Amal spent her birthday.

I thought we would see news about Amal Clooney and George Clooney out and about.

Last year we heard because the paps caught them getting on and off the plane. Maybe, since it wasn't a big birthday like her 4oth they spent it quietly.

40 some people are weird about getting older, maybe she did not want to make a big deal about it.  Amal Clooney has a lot to be thankful for she gave birth to twins and has the Actor George Clooney by her side.

Why do you say the actor George Clooney ? She has her husband George Clooney by her side. I think first he is father and husband and then actor.

Never happened, never likely too. Why on earth would they?

That is the description to describe George if someone didn't know what he does. We all know he is an actor so there is no need to describe him as an actor when talking about their relationship , he is simply her husband . At least that is how I see it.
