Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
Well, that was written by the National Enquirer so no surprise there!
Grazia has many different editions through Europe, and can't be taken that seriously. It's often mash-ups of facts already out there.
But there could of course be an element of truth to some of what it says. Without a doubt they each have attached security now.
We will never know the substance of this

Had.e6 - Twitter says the page doesn't exist. Even if the threat is legit, I'm sure it isn't the first one they've gotten and sadly it won't be the last. That's why George has a security team with him all the time.

Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
Yep, Lizzy.
It did remind me though of the time she seemed to be surrounded by security as they left LAX and George was right behind her.
About the same time as he went to meet her from a function at a Spanish restaurant in Northern LA. Again security of course

Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
This is not new for George when he was dating Sarah, some one called and told him to stop seeing her or else I believe they said. The threats come from all over the place some are just disgruntled fans and now because of Amals job that could also be a part of the threats. George is aware of all of this and they have good security , it still must be unsettling to have threats made against you.

One of Nasheed supportive tweeted about Maldive Government threatening Amal and others . But nothing in the news about anyone of the government lately attacking Amal . Annemarie I also belive it just an crazy fan or the Mag fabricating another story .

An Article about the Article
George and Amal Clooney have been forced to step up security after the lawyer was sent death threats.
The couple have reportedly taken drastic measures to protect their 10.7m mansion in Berkshire, South England, have been advised not to travel without bodyguards and even have to be chauffeured to local restaurants just 300 yards away following worrying messages the 38-year-old beauty has received, supposedly in relation to her current case, which is seeing her represent jailed former president of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed.
South Oxfordshire district councillor Paul Harrison, who has been involved in negotiations to beef up surveillance at the Clooneys' home, said: "Security isn't so much for him but for her.
"From George's point of view, the high-level legal work she does and the death threats she gets, it's quite serious."
The 'Hail, Ceasar!' actor and his wife initially applied for planning permission to erect up to eight cameras on 6m poles in the grounds, plus another 10 fixed to the ground, but the plans were denied as the cameras would represent a "potential infringement of the privacy of neighbouring properties - though a compromise has now been reached.
Mr. Harrison explained: "[The poles] have now been reduced from six to three meters, so we're happy with that."
The 54-year-old star is said to have masterminded all the security changes.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "George is understandably concerned that there are people seeking to harm Amal or at least intimidate her.
"She is a formidable woman with a wealth of experience handling contentious cases, but threats must be taken seriously.
"George's biggest fear is anything happening to Amal.
"Neither of them wants to take any chances."

Why is this guy talking about their security that should have been kept private.

Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
Most of this stuff is already out there, and anyone can see the security that they have.
And I can totally see His Nibs meeting and talking to this local councillor and wanting to be protective.
But if you look at the article, the quote you may be looking at is from 'a source'. So anyone from a junior on the newdesk, to a man fishing on the river bank really..............

Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
There's really nothing new here. I wonder if she's the only one on the legal team receiving threats and if the other team members are increasing their security as well.

Re: Grazia article about Amal's safety
I was concerned until I read the article , Instead of " she's pregnant " " they are getting divorce " , " she's in danger " " George is worried " I'm still waiting to OK Magazine to confirm the news .
