George Clooney captured over 5 million clicks across digital this week, with his upcoming releases “Money Monster” and “Hail, Caesar!” both ranking on the DAR-Film leaderboard.
Both films released trailers last Tuesday, which propelled them to the top. “Money Monster,” which is set to release in May 2016 , launched the first trailer of the campaign, sparking about 2.2 million engagements on YouTube. Tuesday’s “Hail, Caesar!” trailer marked the film’s second release, which was slightly stronger than “Money Monster’s” launch. Thanks to the combined impact of the trailer drop and release buzz building, overall engagement tripled.
This is one of the few times that a single actor saw two films crack the leaderboard simultaneously, confirming that his films are continuing to captivate millions.
