The Clooneys in London last night November 14 2015

I wonder if George and Amal are still waiting to move into their new home.  It's hard to figure out where they are staying when they are in England.  Are they in London - still.  Or have they moved into their home and went into London for dinner?  There haven't been any pictures or tweets of them being seen out and about.  Stealth George at his best.

I like the dress Amal is wearing.  Haven't we seen it before?  They look lovely together for an evening out. 

She wore that dress to dinner in Italy with their families.

Joanna - It's been getting much cooler here and is really starting to feel like fall. I've even seen people in winter coats the last couple of days! Yet Amal is wearing a very summery dress, so I wondered what the weather was like in London. I thought, perhaps, it was still warm. I guess if you just go from the car to the venue and back you can wear anything - and she probably had a coat or jacket or something that we didn't see.

He, on the other hand, seems to have discovered a new uniform since he got married. The only time he seems to wear anything else is when he's working - and even then he often turns up in those damn jeans! They really are the odd couple. She's a fashionista and he's becoming a slob!

He does love his jeans , let's just be glad he's not wearing that darn Casamigos t shirt.

I prefer to see him wearing a dark suit and shirt, he looks so good in it (not to mention the tux, yummy). But he seems to be comfortable in his 'jeans uniform', and I think Amal is a very smart woman for not wanting to change his habit of dressing.

Agree, Carol, but who knows? This may be their home-away-from-home for the moment, so he's totally comfortable.......

I was also astonished to see Amal in a summer dress but I guess Lizzy is right, it might habe been warm inside and if she wore a coat outside it will have worked.

He seems to prefer casual to dressy and I think he is very comfortable. 

Could this be the hotel they are staying at in London the one George mentioned .

It sometimes baffles me too when George doesn't dress a bit more spiffy when he goes out with Amal.  She always dresses for the occasion which I love.  You know .... the lost art of dressing up.  From what I have seen of the two of them together and what I have heard him say about his wife it just seems he is incredibly in love with this woman and as I've said before dotes on her.  He seems to put her on a pedestal.  If that is the case and I was Amal I would just give him a pass.  No man is perfect so if this is his shortcoming I'm willing to accept it. Because he pretty much worships me.  

Amal was wearing a summer outfit but if they are staying at a hotel and we're eating at the hotel then covering up wasn't an issue.  But it was a bit of a surprise to me too.

Well George did say she is confused by his fashion sense , so I guess she picks her battles like not that t shirt again. She also probably loves him as he is so why try to change him. Like most wives she probably adds pieces here and there to his wardrobe like the turtleneck and p coat.

True annemarie about in marriage you pick your battles. And George wore the same wardrobe before they married so ...
And it does look like she suggests/picks out some pieces for him to wear.

Those are the exact same earrings she wore when first pictured in that dress.  I wonder if they are just re-cycling the picture making people (us) think it's new.

She probably likes those earrings with that dress. The picture is new George is wearing a short sleeved white shirt and light blue pants in the original picture.

he could have changed inbetween shots to confuse us. Because he's got nothing better to do than that. By the time the first picture was shot it was really hot in Como so of course it was a lot if fun fof him to wear a woolen sweater in that heat.

Seriously, guys! Here we talked so often about Amal not recycling her clothes what in my opinion is crap because we see her about once a week and we don't know what she wears when she stays at home. So now she does recycle and we assume that it's a staged photo.
I really like the dress and the earrings. And I always love to see them going out together.

Ah yes Carolhathaway , I forgot how devious George can be.  Like a lot of us she wears her summer things in fall clothes can be worn in more than one season .

I think like all of us she wears her clothes more than once we don't see her that often so we don't know how often. The only thing different about her clothes are the cost and I would think she likes to get her money out of her clothing we all have favorite pieces.

my thought about George could have changed inbetween shots to confuse us was a response to melbert's post. Mel suggested that the photo could be recycled to confuse us.

The places have that sameness look to the insides. The lighting and colors dark inside. So both pics could be the same place on dif days. Can't see the floor too well on the July pic, but this may have been done then, sometime while they were in Italy. 

Wouldn't prevent her friend from being there... have no idea why tho, this would have been placed as a new pic, unless they wish to present a front for some reason.  Perhaps doing something they wish to keep secret for now...

He has done that before... to mislead paps and others while heading to a place he didn't want to be seen... maybe doesn't want paps to notice when they head for that house...?

Just thoughts of possibilities...

PPS: and she seems a bit more substantial in the photo...not as thin as now? Arms look dif. Lots of things to consider, when comparing the pics... but you're also right, it could be just re-wearing the dress again... I think its from the summer tho, for my own thoughts of it...

Now that you mention it.... it does look like a cut and paste effort esp the women.

Well, has anybody of you ever thought that George hinself could just be a copy and paste product? Maybe he doesn't exist at all?

Seriously, of course he can arrange for photos to be published another day than they were taken. I'm sure that Rande posted the photos of their road trip one or two days later because hey didn't want to be followed by paparazzi and fans. But for me that's the sort of compromises that need to be done to keep just a bit of privacy as a celebrity. 
But if you met George in a restaurant or at an event and you wanted to publish it on instagram, twitter, facebook or elsewhere, would you publish it months later? I for sure wouldn't wait that long (well, I'm not on any of these so I wouldn't post it anywhere .except here)

Syma Beydoun is a Lebanese fashion designer.  She has had private sales and fashion shows in London in the past.  In fact tomorrow she is part of a fashion show in London.  Also did another private sale in Knightsbridge in October.  From the look of some of her designs she may have actually designed the piece Amal was wearing in the picture.  It looks like her style.

Actually, Donnamarie, I think the green dress is Valentino. But I do think the dress she wore to the Foreign Office the other day was by this designer. Kind of similar in a business like way if you know what I mean.

Mind you, it would be full length on me!

Thanks PAN about correcting me on the dress.  Oops.  I looked at pictures of some of Syma's designs and they tend to lean toward resort wear.

So George and Amal couldn't possible be in London with this woman at a hotel. Amal couldn't possible wear the same dress twice . 
This makes no sense seriously George and Amal go out and meet people they get pictured and the picture posted by the person they meet or whom ever took the picture. Why does this have to be any different just because Amal is wearing a dress from summer people repeat their clothing she is human it's a nice dress so why not wear it again.

There is no limit or season you can't wear something if you like it.

IMO there is no front, no reason to mislead or to manufacture a picture.  It's a picture of George, Amal and Syma Beydoun.  Amal looks the same as she did 3, 6 and 9 months ago.  George still has his goatee.  

The fact that this designer had been in London in October and will be at a show tomorrow is proof enough for me that this picture was most likey taken in London.  And the timing ..... right when George got back from Edinburgh.  And he had already told the press in Edinburgh that Amal was in England.
