Do they give a date or a location? This says that Robertson will accept the award. Does that mean that Amal won't be attending? Maybe it conflicts with their anniversary?

on their website it says that the banquet will be on October 25th so there should be no conflict with their wedding anniversary. The banquet will take place at the Hyatt Regency ib Los Angeles.

I think George&Amal would attend the ceremony but Amal wont accept the award on stage. That be nice for George to show up and support his wife's achievement.

I think there are two sights if George would join Amal and Geoffrey - on facebook they just say that Geoffrey will be accepting the award):
1. George supports Amal and her achievements, the Armenian genocide gets more media attention (although I think there will be more press anyway because they'll hope that Amal will be joining this event).
2. George draws all the attention if he wants that or not, he will be in the center of the media's attention.

So on the one hand I would love him to be there to support Amal, on the other hand just imagine that it would turn out to be a red carpet event with screaming fans and reporters like AJ. I also thought it would be nice if he would have come to the court in Strasbourg  - but if you remember the hype there where Amal was even asked what she was wearing - no!

I can imagine that Amal will be sitting with the crowed but I think George will not join. If George would join he will take lot of attention from her. And it will look like any other "hollywood award show". I think this Award should focus of the Armenian Cause. To have a political touch not Hollywood touch.

Maybe George will join the afterparty instead.........

What is AJ?

Probably A J Calloway, from Extra NYC who followed George to Venice for the wedding and then London for Tomorrowland......not likely to be him, but I know what you mean, Sevens.

I have a feeling Amal might be involved with the Northern Ireland case by then and His Nibs is in Scotland at the beginning of November I think.......

Yes, I meant AJ Calloway. George called him his 'personal stalker' because AJ tried to crash his wedding and followed him on quite a few events.

I'm just not familiar with things in U.S...

WWHS - I've never heard of this award before. I was curious, too, about who else might have been given the award so I googled it. I found that the Armenian community gives several awards. None of he ones I found sounded like this one, but I might have missed it.
