AS THEY gear up to celebrate their first year of marriage, George and Amal Clooney looked happier than ever as they colour-coordinated their outfits for a romantic dinner during their luxurious Italian getaway.

The couple are currently kicking back in the stunning surroundings of Lake Como – where George owns a holiday home – and the relaxed holiday vibe has been putting the couple in an amorous mood.

The 54-year-old Hollywood actor couldn't keep his hands off his gorgeous 37-year-old wife as they stepped out for a bite to eat.



Proving how in sync they are with one another, the lovebirds donned matching blue hues as they walked hand-in-hand to their intimate evening venue.

Amal showed off her super slim frame in a chic blue and white floral mini-dress, which made the most of her endless pins.

The high-flying lawyer wore her luscious dark locks in bouncy curls and couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she cosied up to her handsome beau.

Cutting a dapper figure as ever, the Ocean's Eleven star opted for a smart casual dress code and looked stylish in a powder blue suit with an unbuttoned white shirt. 

Every inch the gentleman, George escorted his wife onto a small boat and put a protective arm around her tiny waist as they made their way to the restaurant. 

Both George and Amal couldn't contain their excitement as they giggled with one another throughout the night.

The glamorous couple famously married in a lavish ceremony in Venice last September, where they tied the knot in front of celebrities including Bono, Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford.

Ten months on, the famous duo seem relaxed and happy as they plan to spend the rest of their married days between Los Angeles and Sonning in England, where they are currently remodelling their grand countryside home.

However, the showbiz pair reportedly upset their new English neighbours with their tight security plans for the mansion.

George is seeking permission to put up eight CCTV cameras on poles in the grounds of his property and attach a further 10 cameras to the Grade II listed property. The cameras can be tilted to face in any direction. 

The star bought the sprawling £10million mansion last year.

At the time he said he hoped to be just another member of the local community, speaking of his love of downing pints in the village Pub.

I think George looks terrific in his blue and white suit. It really complements his tan. And he looks so summery! Anytime I see him in something besides his jeans and a short sleeve shirt is a bonus!

They look good the color coordination is nice I like Amals dress and George is looking really good. Hey altar ego I agree with you.

As for the heels (said someone who's 5ft nothing and unlikely to tower over anyone), they flatter the legs, so His Nibs likes, and when she takes them off at the end of the evening she's that much shorter and smaller framed than him. Whatever it is, it clearly works!

I don't think the guy see's anything  the hem on the other side is lower, plus he seems to be looking straight ahead.

The woman behind them looks like she could be the one from the other nights dinner.

Annemarie in the pics from the other night I didn't see another woman. I saw another man in the minivan but just barely. Was she in the DM pics?

I will guess that Amal doesn't feel like she needed to learn any lessons from what she wore in Venice. She likes to wear short dresses. This one is not the shortest length I've seen on her.

The young man holding onto the boat saw a lot of leg but he most likely would have had to bend down to look right up her dress. Which of course would have been terribly inappropriate.

Donnamarie in the getty images you can see her but their logo is covering her , she has the sun visor down so you can't see her full face in another picture.

You know annemarie I didn't even check out Getty's site. Yep I see the pic with the other woman in the car. She does look like the woman walking behind Amal and George. There's a man with her. Wonder who they are?

Sorry guys - don't hate me -  but that seersucker suit and white belt was the uniform of every 75 year old retiree in Miami Beach in the 1960s. Can't see his feet, but I'm willing to bet he's wearing white loafers and no socks!

IMO this suit has a "cool factor" of zero! I'd much rather see him in jeans and a Casamigos t-shirt. This just ages him and makes him look like an old man with no sense of style.

Amal on the other hand dresses like a very young girl in a mini skirt.

Why is it always a "date night?"  It seems there are often other people.  Gio and another person at Harrys. Is it a date night when you are not alone?  Not in my book, but maybe others have a different opinion.

Lizzy--totally agree about the suit. It reminds me of all my older male relatives/uncles while I was growing up in the 70s.

The seer sucker is back in style for men , every thing old in fashion comes back around. I think he looks good it's nice to see him in something other than that god awful t shirt and jeans.

I like the suit. I don't like the belt. I'm just not crazy about white belts, esp. for men.

My guess is that he wore the same shoes as the night before. They were beige suede ... lace ups or slip-ons. Can't remember.

I'd like to see him wear khaki pants more often. With a navy polo. He looks good in polo shirts too.

It's the media that describe his dinners out as " date nights". Obviously they aren't unless you want to call last night's outing a double date.

I actually really like the goatee on him. I think he looks sexy! Lol and the suit's not bad either.

I really love that dress she's wearing too, it's a lovely color. I wish she'd do something different with her hair though sometimes.

Yes, he's a lawyer in LA and she's McNally Sagal who's appeared in things like Sons of Anarchy(?) but I don't know, tho wondered if that was a connection.

He is a longtime friend of George's, I thought I read he knew Amal but can't remember now maybe not.

The people with them are not famous so we don't get clear shots there are others with them on the dock.

Looks like this time the paps got close again. Those shots are much better close up then the last we had from the boat dock.

I like the blue Dress on Amal. Looks pretty. But I think i don't like the suit on George with the white belt. Looks so.....mmmhhh. I agree with Lizzy

But which colour should the belt have? Black, brown?  It wouldn't have looked good with the light blue suit and the white shirt as well, I think. 
But IMO the blue suit is loose on him, it seems to be too big. Maybe stylish but I think he's more the classic style type.

I love Amal's dress though.

I think that suit may be light it has been really hot in Italy, the other summer suit he wears is white.

carolhathaway, a brown belt would have worked with tan shoes. Where I live seersucker suits are popular because Wasington DC weather is pretty humid and hot.
It's more of a southern look here in the states.
I'm not sure G's suit was seersucker. Could have just been a light blue, light weight material. But I agree it could have been more fitted. Ralph Lauren makes some really nice summer seersucker suits.

Maybe George was channeling Gregory Peck's character Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird, minus the vest.
It's one of his fave movies.

Then he better not read the sequel the author released.

The father David Sagal is from a Showbiz family. His sister Katey Sagal is probably the most famous  in the family ( Peggy Bundy and Son's of Anarchy.)

I still think the white belt is better because it is all light from his neck to the bottom of his trousers.

They both look good but I thought George's suit might be linen but it's not easy to tell from a distance. They look relaxed and happy.

I have to agree with LizzyNY, George's suit ages him at least 20 years. Not a good thing! Amal's dresses too boxy...and too short to be stepping into a boat. I also wonder if this was her night to drink. He almost looks as though he is holding her up. Unless,of course, the shoes made walking difficult on the dock. I am not a fan of this look.

Maybe this was an Amal-inspired fashion statement outfit. Like, you know, I would go out in bell bottoms and tie-dye shirt -- both of which I totally still have but am way to fat to wear.

Otherwise, he looks good. I like comfy to casual George, and formal suit/tux George. This hip-and-happenin' Florida retiree playboy dude...pass.

That might be the problem he may have lost weight this is George he likes to weigh a certain weight. The suit probably should have been tailored to fit better. I don't have a problem either I think he looks good .

Yeah, his summer suit choices have never been great. If they're going somewhere he must wear a jacket, he should just stick to the classic white shirt/gray jacket/gray pants combo that he LOOKS SO YUMMY IN. Come on, Amal, between this outfit and the Harry's Bar pants (those could seriously have passed for pajama pants), you're dropping the ball here letting him out like this.  Put your foot down, woman!
