Ben Weiss Instagram

I was looking for the thread about Ben's Instagram, but I can't find it, so I post here.
On his Instagram, there are some photos of The Boys in Cabo with Amal. I hand't seen those photos before.

I could not find the Instagram from Ben Weiss can you or somebody else post a link to see if those pics are new or old?

On Instagram Ben is "benweiss2", the photos have been posted 41, 45, 46s ago (as instagram said). He has a private profile so you have to send him a request and wait for him to accept it. He accepted mine very quickly.

I tried to figure out how to sign up to Instagram - OMFE!!!!  Didn't get it!

I know Melbert, I thought you can just Register but when I go to log in then I have to first download something. You experienced it too?

It ask me to " Download on the App store" or "Get it on Google Play".....

Not sure if I do something wrong but I didn't want to download things so I didn't do anything further....

same with me Nicky.  My phone is MUCH smarter than me when it comes to those things!

I was playing a bit around, when I click on "Download on the App store" then it looks like everything can be viewed only through iTunes if I install that.
But when I click on "Get it on Google Play" and install this then it Looks like I can view it through Google. It thinks this would be better?

I haven't installed anything yet.

Maybe someone who has Instagram can give as a good tip what to do 

I don't like to follow anyone connected to George. I once requested Stan on twitter, not only did that little man didn't accept me, HE BLOCKED ME

Really didn't know you can accept or block someone on twitter sounds more like FB. Normally you just follow someone on Twitter... Or maybe i don't know how to use twitter..... LOL hehe

You have to download the app of Instagram and the create an account on it by writing you email, you nickname and a password. That's it.

Oh so you have to do it via your mobile phone? I was trying to do it via my Laptop. was this wrong?

If I got it well, you can only create a new account on your mobile phone or on your tablet.
But you can see any Instagram's account on your laptop, you have just to know the nickname of the profile and the profile mustn't be private. Then you digit on Google (or Yahoo, I don't know what server did you use) the nickname of the profile followed by the word "instagram" and you can see the profile from you PC.

If someone has a private account on Twitter you have to ask to be added as a follower.

They can deny you access.

On Facebook, if you have an issue with someone you can block them - even if you have an open account where others can see your postings, if you block someone they can't access your account at all. 

At least that's my understanding of how those sites work.

You shouldn't have laughed at the 'Ex-GFs Congratulate George' and the reception speeches threads. 

Well, yeah, you should have laughed, but then not ask Stan if you could follow him or be his friend. :-)

W2O4D, this happened about 4 years ago, before I joined here on COH (and any other forum)

I looked for Stan on FB last night and I was surprised that he had unblocked me and my
request was still pending, incredible after almost 4 years and of course I unrequested that friend request.

Maybe he didn't like my profile picture at that time

If the account is private then probably best not to post them here without checking with him first that it's ok.  Although I'm seriously wondering what he's doing accepting friend requests from people he doesn't know! Sheesh!

Nicky: instagram is designed to be a mobile app only (although you can access it through a computer, you can't do anything with it).  Download the app and install on your smartphone.  If you've got an iPhone, you get it from the app store.

As all of you know, I don't post all that often, but I thought I would ask y'all a question.  I have a FB account(don't post often, or update often), but I did
"friend" request all of "the Boys" that had accounts.  And so far, Waldo and
Tommy Hinkley have "friended" me.  The question I have is:  is that usual ?
Or do they "friend" most of the people who request them?  I've heard(my son say)it's all about the numbers(followers). And please don't think that I think I am someone special, because I'm not.  Thanks for any info that y'all may give.

If they use their Facebook accounts to make money somehow then the number of followers would be important.   It's about advertising revenue.

Say Waldo had 100,000 followers.  Don't know what he has just an example.

And he makes a deal with a hair care company to post a comment about the product on his Facebook page.  Then the number of followers would be important because it would then mean more eyeballs would potentially see the advertisement or endorsement of the product.
