Amal Alamuddin buys George Clooney two cocker spaniels after he splashes out £5million on a mansion for her

She has no doubt been lavished with gifts since she got together with movie star George Clooney.
So it’s no surprise that Amal Alamuddin fancied repaying the favour, which she did by buying him two cocker spaniels for a wedding gift.
The British barrister who also gave her new husband customised cufflinks inscribed with his first name in Arabic ahead of their recent nuptials in Venice, Italy - reportedly surprised him with the new puppies during their honeymoon in Berkshire, south east England.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Amal bought George two three-month-old cocker spaniels for George as a wedding gift, and they were waiting for them at the house.
"One of them is really frisky and has to be kept on a leash. George loves them both!"
The Monuments Men star, who already has a cocker spaniel mix named Einstein adopted from a pet shelter, and the 36-year-old beauty have barely left their new, secluded £5 million mansion since tying the knot.

The insider revealed a catering company delivers them meals for lunch and dinner every day, but "breakfast ,they do themselves."
The duo were spotted enjoying a seven-mile cycle around the island last week.
The source added: "They just wanted a simple break with no interruptions."
The pad is thought to have been a gift from George to Amal for their wedding.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "George has all the money in the world but wanted to give Amal something special to mark their marriage.

George has returned to work  

"Buying her a house must be up there with the most expensive wedding gifts in history, but the thought behind it was to give them a proper place to call home in the future.
"George will still travel the world for his movies, but they intend for this to be their British base. They want it to be the place where they bring up a family. They have already talked about having kids."
The home will allow human rights lawyer Amal to continue her work in London, and the newlyweds hope to spend most of their time there.
As well as a panic room, the mansion also features living quarters for Ocean Eleven star's security team.

Aaaaawwww two puppies. I want to hug them. Einstein as their dad.

At least Einstein was a rescue. ...  And puppies!  These two don't have time for puppies.  Hope they have staff to raise and train them.

Still no cats, really, ... pfff 

Not sure this is true, George is a big believer in adopting not buying dogs.

What house were they in? They just settled on their home this week. How could,they have been living there. So where were they with these two pups? And what about Einstein? Three dogs living with 2 high powered career people? Is the housekeeper supposed to take care of all these dogs. Doesn't seem fair. I always wonder about Einstein. I know he is properly taken care of but George travels so much and I know he doesn't take Einstein wherever he goes. Lots of questions and not too sure about this story. They even got the price of the home wrong.

Maybe it's the cockerspaniel society trying to ride the coattails of all this publicity?

Maybe it's just another media outlet looking to write fiction that they hope might come true so that they can later scream in their headlines "WE HAD THE EXCLUSIVE FIRST TOLDJA!!! AMAL BOUGHT THOSE BITCHES!"

Bet they made a lower offer on the house anyway. Par for the course. And has someone seen two cockers? Or has Amal just bought Himself another one to keep Einstein company in His Master's absence.......or......or.....

The little puppies are so adorable. George loves little doggies, and Einstein will have some friends to play with. George brought Amul a house and she got him puppies. i guess george spend quite a bit of money, she got easy with puppies and cufflinks that did not cost that much. George has the money, she is just happy to be living with a man who can just about buy anything he wants. bg

Hey, does anyone know if the story about Amal gifting George with a puppy/puppies is true or not?

Nope never heard about it again. It remains a mystery....

I kind of ranted about that story of Amal gifting George two puppies when I first heard it. I might have been silly to do so but I didn't understand why they would want more dogs when they would be traveling so much between continents. We're they going to shuffle three dogs along with everything else. I haven't heard anymore about the story. Although when George and Amal first moved into their house in Sonning eyewitnesses were saying how they saw George walking the dogs in the area. Don't know if those were true accounts. Kinda hard to walk little puppies on a leash. They would have been pretty young back in October.

Maybe, if they truly saw George, they saw him walking with Einstein.

He gave Kelly Max the pig.  She got John Travolta, he got Max
 
He gave Celine 2 dogs..  She got the door, he got the dogs.

Amal gave him 2 dogs........  oh oh,  LOL
