Now that is special, I would love that, except I don't have a pond - we copped a ton of rain/hail the other day too - almost flooded my backyard, so could have ended up with a natural pond, thank god for good drainage.  Weather has been nuts here lately.

Ladies - child number 1 now has spots in his ears of all places and he cant itch them so is not a happy person, has just started with a terrible cough so getting him checked out tomorrow.  Chickenpox also has the risk of pneumonia and with him being asthmatic need to be a little careful with him.  Children number 2 and 3 now have a cold (which is first sign of chickenpox) so hoping its just that and that they will now break out in spots in 2 days, like to remain as optimistic as possible. School holidays start in 4 days so looks like my 3 wont be doing anything more exciting than staying home at this point, timing again sucks but cant change it so may as well cope with it....

To help alleviate the itch run a bath and put in half a cup of bi-carb soda, also any bath oil, cream or lotion that is oatmeal based will also help him. Good Luck.

Theminis - Poor baby! I hope the cough turns out not to be serious and that the other two little ones just have colds, and not chicken pox. Ugh! That would be awful - for them and for you.

When I was a kid, if one of us got one of those childhood diseases we were all - sibs, cousins - sent to play with the sick kid in the hopes that we'd all catch whatever it was and get it over with all at once. I think our moms were crazy!

@LizzyNY - believe it or not but there are still Chickenpox parties these day - I too think parents are nuts who participate in this, why on earth would you try to have your child contract this I'll never know.   My 3 were immunised against everything (except me) so that I could try and avoid them getting any serious type of illnesses.

And adults risk getting Shingles later in life.

Exactly and from what Ive heard Shingles can be painful.   Oh well still remaining positive that it will somehow miss us all.

Dilemma?
My team Hawthorn will be in the Grand Final next weekend, happy but gee whiz they had me on the edge of my seat and my team didn't play very well.

So do I watch the Grand Final or stayed glued to the internet just in case Mr Clooney slips a ring on it??  LOL

Hi Lizzy eldest over the chicken pox but all of us caught a terrible cold with flu like symptoms, been a yuck few weeks. Still waiting to see if my other 2 get spotty x

When George got engaged, the internet nearly crashed from so many people trying to get info.  During the alleged  upcoming wedding dates ( not trying to be sarcastic, but the damned thing could be this afternoon for all we know), everybody will be trying to get info, pictures etc.  COH is known to be the place in the know  (We're COOL!), and I imagine a bizillion guests trying to log on to get the latest info.   Is there any form of IT safety net in place so the site doesn't go down?
