George Clooney in The Harvest

Unbelievable, but true: George is credited in this film as the 'lipsyncing transvestite'. Let nobody say that our boy isn't versatile!

George's cousin Miguel Ferrer, plays a screen writer that falls victim to the urban legend about stealing kidneys from living donors. George has a brief appearance as a a transvestite dancing around to "Heaven is a Place on Earth".

ps: I'm still looking for the video. Kind of suspect that George has all the copies and deleted everything online, but should anyone still find a version, please do post.

I agree Katie! I'm sure he had loads of fun doing it, too. It fits well with his "jokester" persona.
At the very least, it was a job and he got paid for it. In those days, he made money when he could.
If he made his money as a male prostitute or a stripper, then he'd have something to be ashamed of.

When acting was only about theater, women weren't always allowed to perform. All parts were played by men. Today there are many "quirks of the business" that actors must learn to accept as normal standard practices. Again I had to get used to coed dressing rooms.

This film was released in 1992. ER was not made untiil 1994. George was going through a divorce when this film was being made.
