George Clooney was photographed leaving a bar in London, and the photogs were saying that he has split from longtime girlfriend Stacy Keibler, and was there on a date with a mystery brunette. While it's all speculation ... could it be true!??

“George Clooney Seen Holding Hands with Ex-Fling Monika Jakisic in London,” blares a headline from In Touch.

According to the supermarket tabloid, the Oscar-winner was spotted “holding hands with his ex-fling — Croatian model Monika Jakisic — at Loulou’s members-only club on May 25 in Mayfair, London.”

A so-called “eyewitness” for the magazine says, Clooney “didn’t seem to care who saw them. He was being openly affectionate,” and “didn’t leave Monika’s side.”

The tab’s made up source further claims the model and actor looked “very comfortable together,” but left separately because he “didn’t want to be photographed with her,” though they were “smitten with each other.”

Stop.

In Touch first says, Clooney ”didn’t seem to care who saw them,” but then adds he “didn’t want to be photographed with her.”

Huh?

Besides being completely illogical, the story is also totally NOT TRUE.

Clooney tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “The story is made up. I wasn’t holding anybody’s hand. Stop trying to sell magazines by creating scandal that isn’t there.”

Trouble in paradise? George Clooney was seen holding hands and dancing with his alleged ex-fling, London-based Croatian model Monika Jakisic, at Loulou’s club in Mayfair, London.

The Oscar-winning actor has been dating model Stacy Keibler since July 2011, but the two have reportedly been having problems in recent months.

“They seemed to be having a great old time together,” an eyewitness told In Touch of Clooney and Jakisic, who were first romantically linked in 2007 when they were photographed canoodling on a yacht off St. Tropez. “He didn't seem to care who saw them. He was being openly affectionate.”

“Lots of people were going up and saying hi to George — he didn't leave Monika's side,” the eyewitness continued. “The place was packed, but he didn’t seem to care who saw them inside the club. They were laughing and looked very comfortable together and were there ‘til very late.”

Clooney and Jakisic left the venue separately.

“He left first and she left after him,” the eyewitness said. “He didn’t want to be photographed with her. Maybe she was a shoulder for him to cry on — not that he looked like he was crying. He looked very happy — they were smitten with each other.”

Clooney is currently on location filming “The Monuments Men." Keibler was in Monaco for the Grand Prix.

For me, this settles it: George and Stacy are over. In all the years I've been a fan of his, he's never been caught out like this. If he went to a high profile nightclub with Monika, then it was for a reason.

There is no 'usual way' for George to break up. The announcement with Elisabetta was the first time he'd ever officially announced anything like this.

With Sarah Larson it was just rumours that she'd moved out of his place, followed by a confirmation (when asked) by Stan.

With Lisa Snowdon, it was just rumours of him partying with women who couldn't possibly have been her plus the fact they hadn't been seen together.

With Krista Allen there was nothing but rumours and sightings of them together or not together.

The first breakup with Lisa I think ended up being confirmed by her in an interview somewhere if I remember rightly - and that was possibly quite some time after the breakup.

Until the split with Elisabetta, the most common way for us to be sure he'd split with a girlfriend was rumours and sightings of him out with other women.

Very much like this thing with Monika.

So you are saying that he used Monika to say he is single but doesn't want people to think he was with her????

I'm not sure what he wants! He's not so stupid as to think he can go to a nightclub and dance with someone without there being breakup rumours, so . . .

On the other hand, that denial is pretty emphatic, isn't it?

Time will tell. If Stacy isn't in London with George within the next 8 hours, we'll know he's telling lies to gossip cop.

The thing is it took so long this time for a denial. When it was just being seen with the ex and being out it was ok until In Touch said that they were holding hands. The man is nuts!!!!!

I think he may be a little bit annoyed that Monika's name came out so quickly. He may have been ok with 'mystery brunette' (plausible deniability) but not with a named person he's already had some sort of history with.

I think he was probably out having a good time he didn't deny being with her he denied holding hands We all know George Keeps most of his old girlfriends as friends so he hung out with Monika she lives in London. We will know soon enough if he has broken up with Stacy . She will either show up or a source will have something to say.

Doesn't sound as if Monica has anyone special in her life, maybe that's what makes her available for temporary dates. Like Playful said been there and if he wanted something more he could have it.

There are pictures of 2 bouquets on the same day that she posted the note, I was assuming that the note went with one of those bouquets.

After two years of a relatively staid relationship, it appears that George Clooney and WWE wrestler/model/hot lady Stacy Keibler have gone their separate ways, according to Radar Online. Reports a source: "They knew it was never going to end in marriage or babies and Stacy does want kids and a husband in the next few years."

Ohhh, our George. Between shooting Norwegian bank commercials and starting his own tequila brand, his disdain for settling down with one woman is a Hollywood legend. So why don't we give the ladies in his life enough credit for knowing what they're getting into?

Each article detailing a split between Clooney and an ex references her "failure" to get him to commit in the long run. But as far as I can tell, dating Smirkface Silverfox (as I affectionately call him) would be a Danny Ocean-esque whirlwind of hedonism and great sex... with an expiration date. Having an awesome time until it ends is hardly a failure. Nobody gets attached, nobody gets hurt. Right? It's like continuing to pursue that guy who never texts you back: you have all the info you need on his so-called "commitment level." And if you can handle that, great.

Nevertheless, we've always been much more captivated with tales of scorned women, tossed aside by Hollywood sex symbols. The New York Post called it a "curse," depicting the post-Clooney lives of his myriad girlfriends as a sad, empty existence. [One ex-girlfriend's] tale epitomizes the typical two-year life cycle (give or take) of a Clooney girlfriend: a no-name model-actress-bartender briefly turns celebrity-by-association while dating the Hollywood star, only to fade back into obscurity once he moves on to his next affair.

Still worse, Clooney's pre-Keibler ex, Elisabetta Canalis, was spotted last year making out with Steve-O. Here's hoping Stacy fares better. After rolling with Danny Ocean for two years, it's understandable if she needs a break from the dating game.

IMO, it wouldn't mean he's lying. He's only denying holding hands.
It's like you're suggesting an ultimatum: get photographed with SK or you're lying about holding hands. Unless you're kidding.

I bet Monika is really enjoying all the press she is getting now, especially if the rumours are not true.

If these are all rumors, I would think that George would stop associating with her, and probably cease the friendship. Why would someone hang around someone who is detrimental to their career and lifestyle. Unless bad publicity is better than no publicity?

Maybe he's advised by his PR team that he needs the publicity...to stay relevant.
To keep him in the media, regardless of content of stories.
Like a Domino Effect: name in media -> public awareness -> promoting Gravity, MM...etc.

And I'm guessing George Clooney has been advised that his "private life" sells; fabricated or otherwise....

I don't think he was lying he just wasn't holding hands with her.

I love coming to this site ladies! I teach 20 six year olds and it is the end of a long school year and I have them in and out of my pockets all day long and they are very hyper as you can imagine! So coming here and playing "make believe" about George and why or what he is up to is just plain fun! IMO George usually does not make comments about his life unless he feels strongly about something. For whatever reason, he does not want people to think there is anything to the Monika stories. Time will tell....

Well, flowers are general gifts to anyone. But, if it's because of romance, then maybe MJ is hinting at innuendo? Planting seeds of rumors?

I mean, she had a relationship with him in the past & is hoping for another shot at the title. For fame & fortune ....of course.

Hi it was me who posted the note signed Love and Basketball from Monikas twitter account, purely as a way of showing how easy it could be to make something of it. I was curious that the note was signed From Love and Basketball but that could mean anything, right? Who knows maybe they were sent from George, maybe not. I think the entire night at Loulou's is speculation on behalf of media - they saw an ex leave after him and went mad with stories and suppositions. I agree with Katie that I don't think George is stupid enough to be caught cheating, so doubt it.

No idea, Themi - don't really do techie - but I think His Nibs was up to his neck in film cable and stuff in a cold German cathedral at the time of that posting.......

The bottom line is that George had some fun, he drank he danced. Now it is a big international scandal, He denied holding hands with her that is all that he said. I for one take him at his word. He didn't say that he and Stacy are on or off. So we have to just wait and see down the road when they are ready.

I don't think George's physical location matters much in terms of whether he sent the flowers. It's not like he picks up the phone himself to do these things. If Angel were somehow incommunicado then maybe.

It seems to me there are two possibilities.

A) George is seeing this woman and wants to keep it quite for the time being, hence the denial.

B) George is not seeing her and does not want to be linked to her, hence the denial.

In either case, posting pictures insinuating he sent her flowers (which these are clearly meant to do, otherwise what's with the pet names) means Monika does not understand the first rule of Dating George Club: George is the boss. If he says keep quiet, you keep quiet. I think we might be seeing why she didn't last the first time around, and why I doubt we'll be talking about her much longer.

Third possibility-- he knew he was going to be in London and sent flowers because he wanted a booty call while there, not a relationship.

Looked at her pics on twitter, how old is she? She looks a lot older than his usual early 30's.
