Well unless you ask you just never know your luck LOL
ps go to Dubia and take a picture from the tallest building, about the only way I'll get to enjoy that view, due to my vertigo and oh yeah not much chance I'll be flying there anytime soon.

OMG!... it actually gave me a physical reaction watching that! I just about had a heart attack seeing him so close to the edge shortly before someone finally figured out the child was in trouble.
Did you hear the wailing directly after the window was slammed shut? I'm sure a spanking almost certainly took place to make the point of how dangerous that ledge is...poor baby. How could they be that high up and have no screens or any protection covering the open window?

I literally thought my heart would stop, then I realised I wasn't breathing I was so terrified watching it - Id be spanking the parents, they should have bars on those windows or keyed window locks at the very least.

For our German friends.....

Hackers access 16 million email accounts
In Germany
Published: 21 Jan 2014 12:38 GMT+01:00
Updated: 21 Jan 2014 12:38 GMT+01:00
Millions of Germans have had their passwords and usernames for websites stolen, the country’s Federal Office for Online Security (BSI) revealed
The BSI said 16 million accounts containing passwords and email addresses had been compromised, according to information passed to it by law enforcement agencies and research institutions.
Authorities have set up a website where internet users can check if they have been affected, but the site crashed soon after it went up on Tuesday.
If the site does match the users email address as one of the 16 million stolen, then the BSI said the users computer was likely infected with malicious software.
Half of the accounts ended in .de meaning they were German-based, Tim Griese from the Frankfurt-based office.
The theft was revealed in an analysis of illegal botnets – a collection of programmes which are used to breach a computer’s security and give access to a third party.
The hijacked computers are often infected with malicious software without the knowledge of users.
The BSI refused to give details on the source of the information, but advised victims to digitally clean their computer and change access to their online profiles.

You Americans really experience the winter this year....
Snow and freezing temperatures expected to disrupt travel through tomorrow.
Blizzard conditions are expected along the heavily populated corridor between Washington DC and Boston through tomorrow, cancelling 2,400 flights on Tuesday and another 500 already cancelled for Wednesday.
Washington, D.C., is set to see about a half-foot of snow and wind gusts of 30 mph, while Boston could see around 8 inches and wind gusts up to 40 mph. A winter storm warning was in effect for New York City and the surrounding areas by the National Weather Service from noon Tuesday through Wednesday morning.

Well Nicky you know the US when they do something, its usually on a big scale, so blizzards, gusting winds is what I would expect from their winter lol.
I know its dangerous and interrupts everything but something about snowing in New York makes me feel all romantic, rugging up and fireplaces - yes he heatwave in Australia has made me yearn for colder climates!!
Stay safe

Not good news about Schu......
Michael Schumacher may be in 'persistent vegetative state'
22 JANUARY 2014
Michael Schumacher's family have thanked the retired Formula One star's fans for their support, as fears grow that he may be in a persistent vegetative state.
The father-of-two, who has been in an induced coma for four weeks following a skiing accident in France, may "never make a full recovery," according to new reports.
Michael's family have insisted that "he is a fighter" and wrote an emotional note on the former F1 world champion's official website.
"We are deeply touched by all the messages to get well soon for Michael, which still are being sent," said the statement. "That gives us strength. Thank you all so much! Thank you to the Fanclub in Kerpen, to 1. FC Köln and Schalke 04 but also to everybody else and other fan groups who are supporting Michael. We all know he is a fighter and will not give up!"
Recent reports have speculated that Michael has had permanent brain damage and may be suffering from apallic syndrome, or persistent vegetative state.
This would mean Michael would live in a state of
partial arousal rather than complete awareness.
Michael was put in a medically-induced coma just before New Year to relieve pressure on his brain, and most patients are usually kept in such comas for a maximum of two weeks. If doctors did manage to bring him out of the coma, Michael would still be unable to speak, move or feed himself.
"More than three weeks after the tragic skiing accident of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher, fears grow that he will never make a full recovery," reported Austrian news website format.at.
"Every day, every week in a coma the chances decline that the situation is improving," added Jean-Marc Orgogozo, professor of neurology at the University of Bordeaux.
Michael, who is married to German-born Corinna and is father to Gina Maria and Mick, was with his teenage son at the time of the accident. The seven-time F1 champion was taken to hospital after he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in Meribel.

Keep in mind that all the speculation about Schu is from Drs who have never treated him so they are making a general assumption, only Michaels Dr's know the full extent of his injuries and they have not made any recent statement. But yes its not very positive.

Nothing wrong with it. I couldn´t tell if it´s a man or a woman, but I guess it doesn´t matter...singer performing a song.
What do you guys think about Sochi?
I haven´t paid much attention to coming olympics, didn´t even know where Sochi is (Soooo bad with geography). Well, I just heard my new "friend" is going there. He has shown little to no interest in winter sports and all of a sudden he is taking this long flight to go and see ice hockey games! Sorry, but I do not understand. Maybe I just have a worrygut, but I don´t like the idea one bit.
I can tell that if I dedicate any of my TV time for the games, I will have one of the best seats available to see the Olympics! Yep, it´s in my own house, a heated room with a comfortable couch about 5 meters from the action!
Some countries have advised their athletes not to wear their team outfits for the safety reasons. By the look of the some of them, one risk is to get caught by the fashion police...

Had the best Australia Day, took ourselves off to the beach where they had markets, sausage sizzles, heaps of great activities. Only downer is the 50+ sunscreen I slathered on all of us didn't work on my Scottish skin!!! Burnt my bosom and back of neck, my fault for wearing a bikini! Kids got the most lovely tan. Just returned now from the firework show in the CBD. I'm absolutely exhausted, the sea air makes you very sleepy. Well off to slather myself in aloe Vera!!

Ouch! I feel your pain theminis! I can't go out in the sun, no matter what I use. I have "red head" skin and I burn...period! You'd think being of Italian descent, that I would get a beautiful tan like my sisters/brother do, but no, I'm the only sibling who has to deal with it, like my mother and my nonna who were also red heads, I can't go in the sun for very long. And I LOVE the beach!
Your Australia Day sounds a lot like our 4th of July or Independence Day here in the States. Always a good time at the beach for that one. Have a great evening!
Happy Australia Day to all our Aussie members!

Re: January Chit Chat
I completely understand how the sun doesn't like you Lighter, even after 30 years in this Country I can still get unexpectedly burnt to a crisp. My kids who have never even turned pink due my over zealous use if sunscreen all get gorgeous tans very quickly, must have more of their Daddy's Italian genes.
Yeah pretty much the same as July 4th, though it commemorates the arrival of the first fleet. Most towns big and small have organised events, flag raising ceremonies, picnics, bbqs, beach activities and fireworks. It's also the day you can become an official citizen provided you pass the test. I still have British citizenship, haven't gone all the way yet!!!
Ps I copped an eyeful of some very fine looking lifesavers at our beach, for a second I was going to pretend a jellyfish bit me and get some attention but suspect hubby may have frowned at that!

What I like about it is there's a good selection between plain and easy ones and
more complex ones, so there should be something for all abilities.
I've printed a good selection and now
