Winter solstice & Full Moon.
Dec 21.
How romantic!
Imagine long dark night in North Pole.
Cuddling & sipping mulled wine by the fireplace with your loved one.

Re: December Chit Chat
you can always make mulled wine. It's pretty easy. Some recipes also call for a bit of brandy added witht eh wine, but Brandy makes me sleepy!

Well, not literally in the North Pole. There's nothing but ice there. Closest land to it being Coffee Club Island.
I meant somewhere within the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights. Like that Igloo hotel in Lapland... Or any log cabin with a fireplace. Just creating an imaginary atmosphere. Btw, there's no full moon tonight. Oh, well...
Thanks for mulled wine link.
It's important to simmer ever so gently so not to lose the alcoholic content.

To see the Northern lights you need clear sky and lot´s of minus degrees, still it´s rare.
Igloo hotel sounds COLD!
I never cared about those, but "blue moment" that´s awesome

Seriously is there something in the water at my place. Woke up this morning at 7.00am to find that my eldest had gotten hold of the tattoos I confiscated and not only tattooed himself but his 2 siblings. We are on our way for Santa photos and they have leftover Halloween goblins, witches and ghosts tattoed on their cheeks and hands - Good grief. Looks like I'll have to stop sleeping in.....

I saw green and blue northern lights when I was backpacking in Canada near the Minnesota Boundary Waters. Even tho you know you are looking at it, it still doesnt seem real. I just stood there, watching, for a very long time. Breathtaking

As for the workout - the first paragraph says "the highly sculpted, practically naked Persian king who thinks he's a god". Yep, very believable. And not just in the movie.
Do these people realize that if he sold workout videos, they would most likely sell like hotcakes?

I see George's art cover was #2 or were they listed in reverse order?
And #34 was very poignant and sad.

The Santa my children saw looked very old and possibly medicated, definitely had a weak bladder, kept taking breaks to feed the reindeer? All kids named what they really wanted for Christmas which was news to me, different from their letter to Santa. My eldest also went into the office at home where the presents are hidden discovered them all and told his little sister what she is getting for Santa and added, see Santa is not real as the presents are already here in the house. Santa Maria I could cheerfully choke him...Not sure how to get out of this one other than sneaking off to the shops to buy another secret present each, hide it better and say its from Santa.

Ah you should really screw with their heads and tell them those are the presents Santa asked you to hold for the kids down the block!

Re: December Chit Chat
HA HA - Come Christmas day when she opens the gifts he told her about she will stop believing in Santa and I don't want that to happen, she is only 6. Hubby (who left the office door unlocked and is now in the doghouse) has been told to stop at the shops and buy them all another secret gift. Don't panic everyone Im not one of those Mums that goes present crazy at Christmas. My 3 only get 3 presents from us each year (1 is from Santa 2 from us). This year I only gave the eldest 2 as I had to buy their Ipads and now that has become their 3rd Christmas present ($1400 later Im still in shock). What to do, what to do.

Lots of great covers in link above. Shock value images.
Bloomberg's Hedge Fund. Time Out London Sex Issue.
Stylist magazine often comes up with great content, like the ironed burnt shirt. & Time's China.
Yes, #19 was amusing. Boston #34 was very sad.
Harper's, NY Fashion & Playboy ones are beautiful too.
If they're in order, George on W #2. & Brad Pitt in a similar Esquire one further along.

You might be able to get away with saying that because you live so far from the
North Pole, Santa asked you to be his helper this year and hold their presents to save him the extra long Journey on Christmas Eve ???
No good ? Sorry......it's the best I could come up with.
Idea....Next year hide the presents at your in law's house ???
