George Clooney sighting in New Smyrna Beach

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Residents are on celebrity watch in New Smyrna Beach as the filming of "Tomorrowland" takes place this week, and rumors are swirling.

It's the second day of filming on Canal Street.
A photo, reportedly taken in Salon 404 on Tuesday night, shows Clooney getting a pedicure. The salon was supposedly closed just for him.

Carol Chute works at a pharmacy on Canal Street and said a friend sent the picture to her.

"I'd rather see Tim McGraw. George Clooney is a little old, but he could date my mom," Chute said.

WESH 2 News went to the salon, but employees were sworn to secrecy.

McGraw has been spotted in town and possibly leading lady Britt Robertson.

Watching the pic closer, I think is fake too, seems photoshopped

Definitely photoshopped. The head is not the right proportion for the body. No way George would have the spa closed and then pose for a photo. If he wanted a pedicure he could have one done at his hotel. Nice PR for the salon.

I don't know if this is fake or not. Don't have a good judgement when it comes to fake pics. But it is a bit strange if he smiles for a picture like that.

I dislike the picture of him getting pedicure  , he is too classy to pose for a picture like this. Also, I think it may be a photo shop because he didn't have this hairstyle while in Canada. This is his "old" look.

This photo was taken in Florida not Canada the movie is filming there this wee.

It looks fake to me too - that's not his look and has anyone ever seen him with a paunch and t-shirt under his shirt?

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. —There was some fancy footwork involved, but it had nothing to do with George Clooney getting a pedicure in New Smyrna Beach.
A picture showing George Clooney at Salon 404 on Canal Street surfaced this week.

Clooney was said to be shooting Disney's "Tomorrowland" in New Smyrna Beach, but no one had spotted him until the picture of Clooney getting a pedicure surfaced.

WESH 2 News confirmed with Clooney's publicist, who said the picture is fake.

His publicist still isn't saying if Clooney is even in town.

Tim McGraw, who is also in the movie, has been spotted in town.

This photo was taken in Florida not Canada the movie is filming there this wee.

Can't remember where I saw it, but in an interview somewhere he said he's the least "metrosexual" guy on the planet. Never had a mani- or pedicure, and cut his own hair for longer than other people have cut it for him. That's why, when I saw this picture, I didn't believe it.

I don't have any issue with him getting a pedi. Maybe his back hurts too much to bend down to do it himself and seriously who wants to see a guy with gross unkempt toe nails. Plus that could be dangerous in bed for his next girlfriend!
