Just saw on the morning news that there are major bush fires near Sidney....hope our Australian friends are ok. Be Safe....

Its a horrible situation, not even summer yet and already over 90 fires burning around New South Wales with at least 30+ out of control. Im in Victoria so not affecting me, hopefully our other Aussie posters are out of harms way.

State of emergency. Sydney is surrounded by an inferno. Getting worse.
Only one casualty but hundreds of homes destroyed.
And a lot of fauna & flora.
Poor koalas.
