Fires in Los Angeles

Just saw this. Hoping that none of our LA Open Housers are in danger. Praying that this gets contained before any lives are lost.

Mel we've had fires throughout LA all summer. This one happens to be along one of the busiest freeway's in this area.

Those who are most affected? The Los Angeles area fire fighters. Not only do they have all these fires to deal with, they transport, on average about 500 people a day to hospitals.

Like you I hope this will be extinguished quickly and that no one gets hurt.

Thanks Lorna. I guess I've not heard about the other fires going on. I've been absorbed in the fires in my own back yard (not literally in MY back yard). Just saw this as I was flipping through stuff last night. Still, hope things go alright.

Oh my....those buildings look so close to the fires on the photos !
Hope there's no real damage done to any of them.
The smoke effects must be bad.
