VENICE - It was not very talkative during the press conference officer (only concession to reporters on the red carpet: "getting engaged?'ll think about it ...") to make room for Sandra Bullock, the true protagonist of Gravity, the film by Alfonso Cuaron who opened yesterday evening, the 70th edition of the Venice Film Festival in Venice. But now, in the garden of Cipriani, with a glass of champagne in hand ("Bellini too many and too much tequila last night, not a good combination"), surrounded by a group of friends, the film's director and the heads of Warner Brothers George Clooney is having fun, chat, relax. Kids with Sandra Bullock, old friend, who in his arms the little adopted son Loui, of three years.
Clooney, who do you think of this edition of the show?
"It's nice, I do not have a lot of responsibility, are an actor, I love this group, Alfonso, his son, Sandra, there are tensions.'s The 70th anniversary, I like it here, the film is beautiful, I can have fun and just . Alfonso and Warner When they asked me what I thought of making the film premiere in Venice I immediately said that it seemed like a good idea. If anything, I thought it was an unusual choice as the opening film, it is curious to see the entire audience with 3D glasses in the Great Hall, do not you think? The opening night is tough, because there are politicians, the jury .. but it seems that everyone enjoys the film. "
Looks like you're the artist, who has scored the highest number of films opening in Venice.
"I had no idea, I swear I had nothing to do with the choice."
It is true that she has rewritten the parties?
"We had trouble figuring out how to tie certain emotions. Has been a difficult film to make, you could not change the jokes, if you changed a word or two seconds longer put yourself there to say one thing sballavi everything. When we got back to redo the scenes during the assembly of the lines I have suggested that collegassero death to the daughter of Sandra's character, not me. "
Do you think she would be a good astronaut?
"Yes, I think that'd be fine in a spacesuit. Did not have to suffer from panic attacks or claustrophobia.'s Never been in one of those capsules? It's madness! Go to the Smithsonian Museum and see the capsule in which they went to the moon and you think, what you infilerebbe crazy in that thing to go to the moon and back?'s like getting on a Chevy 1957 and drive it to 700,000 km! But it's cool. "
What did you like the story?
"The idea that the audience is in front of 2 people alone, but in a story that is still interesting. Generally, if a script does not catch me in the first 15 pages is over, but with this you want to keep reading to see what happens. "
His character is generous to the end. We identified himself?
"I had nothing bad to do! I arrived, I was cute, and I die, a fantastic role for me. Regard to the generosity of character, I leave you to judge ..."
What does that say of Monument Men, it is mounting at his home on Lake Como?
"I literally finished yesterday morning to mount it, now we have to start the test, the sound in Los Angeles and New York, then we go to London to record the soundtrack which I have entrusted to Alexander Desplat. I put it in a small part in film, is this funny character who seems Ratatouille, with his big nose and ears. "
If someone told her to make a film about Berlusconi, who would it be?
"That anyone who does will have to wait until he is dead."
He just made another one of his bike rides for the Alps How did it go?
"It was great, I was with one of my best friends, we went through Switzerland to the summit of Mont Blanc then we riscesi to Lake Maggiore. Gods landscapes of incredible beauty. And as you go from Switzerland to Italy the roads are becoming more disgusting and the food gets better. "
The people will leave you alone when doing these tours?
"No, I will flank while I go to 160 per hour, and they sit you, filming you, you scream ... a madness."
You might be wearing a helmet with the visor.
"I do not like, and is not for vanity, it hurts your neck when you wear it for a long time. And then it would not be fun, sweat and feel the wind in your face."
REAL? Dunno
It not seems

OMG he told us the end of the movie. He will die. Oh now we know. I hate to know the end before
"I had nothing bad to do! I arrived, I was cute, and I die, a fantastic role for me."
So yes it's me it looks like LA, NY and London again. We will see more pics I hope or maybe we will not even know he is there. Wonder how Canada fits in this rota.
Thanks for the artical it's me. Nice Interview

What everyone dies. No happy end? Oh no.
This is like if somebody tells you the end of the book before starting reading it.
Or do you mean it is all a joke and noone dies

From Vanity (a lil bit, all for him)

Eng
Let stand everything, but let's keep speaking the man of goodwill that is George Clooney. Because he believes in what he does. Who brings from home the marker pen to sign autographs.
Because another be. A small part in a movie could also stay on Lake Como. Instead he comes here and has fun as well, much more than those who are around, stressed in inventing and implementing countermeasures to his fame, unnecessary.
He seems to enjoy it. The night before he played the piano and sang in the bar of Cipriani. And, ended the "work" of the opening evening (red carpet, projection, official dinner) went to get a few drinks at the Palazzina G with few friends, a good worker bee of cinematic art.
Sandra Bullock, however, went immediately to sleep, stretching wrinkles that (blessed her) did not have.

Re: George Clooney interview in La Repubblica August 2013
Thanks It'sMe for this whole thread I enjoyed it so much. I know George can sing but didn't know that he could play the piano, he's a multi-talented wonder. When they were doing "Oh, Brother" the guy that did the singing(cannot remember his name it's in an article that I posted here) said that George could sing but he didn't have enough confidence to do it. You know George if not perfect...

George owns a piano, but does not play. We know he can sing, but he always makes a joke of it. He always has his own blue marker to sign autographs.
It was stated in several places that George just drifts out to space never to be seen or heard again...

This is a wonderful picture. I don't follow anyone but George I am not a fan in that sense. However if there is a movie on with Sandra Bullock in it I will go out of my way to see it. I think she is a good actress and from what I've heard a great person.
