The Oscars on UK tv
Not a lot of coverage but we have showing here in the UK:
Live from the Red Carpet @ 10:30pm on Sky E HD channel 151 or E channel 233
The Oscars will be showing on a special channel that can only be viewed on the films package which has really pissed me off as i don't subscribe to that but its channel 303 Sky Oscars HD or channel 330 Sky Oscars
Finally on Monday there's an Oscars 2013: HIGHLIGHTS on channel Sky Living HD @ 10pm but by the it will be on you tube anyway and a lot of stuff on here too as well i would think.
Enjoy the show as i wont see it, ill be tucked up cosy in bed but fingers crossed for Argo, i really hope they win

Oh, thank you! I just checked it and guess what? As you watch, there at the bottom of the screen, it says 'no livestream at the ceremony'

Thanks it's me - GREAT video with Jimmy Kimmel. Didn't Uggie get the same chance last year to pick the winner? I don't remember which movie he chose.

Re: The Oscars on UK tv
me neither
I read many presenters tonight: Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, Salma Hayek , Russell Crowe and John Travolta. Then Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron.
Shirley Bassey will sing Goldfinger
maybe all James Bond actors too?
oh my!

Adel is singing Skyfall as well, so a Bond theme at the Oscars?

Re: The Oscars on UK tv
Managed a small catch up of the e news red carpet coveredge, basically zipped through it and was very surprised to see no interview with George or Ben and no sighting of George on the carpet, what i did notice was there was hardly any decent A celebs being interviewed and a large part of the programme was spent in the studio with Kelly, Juliana and 3 other people all talking about what everyone was wearing, it actually got really boring and never once did George and Stacy come up in there conversations which was unusual.

Re: The Oscars on UK tv
Mm, I did wonder if that would happen, and altho there was coverage to begin with, most of them then said 'Okay, we're watching Abc now'.......So Rupert monopoly in the UK...........
