Another dictionary describes it the way I think it's meant in this instance:

schmoozed
Definition of SCHMOOZE

intransitive verb
: to converse informally : chat; also : to chat in a friendly and persuasive manner especially so as to gain favor, business, or connections

So if George is schmoozing he's doing it for business related reasons. Perhaps to get someone to agree to join in his latest or perhaps a later film. Could also be used to gain favor by becoming friendly with someone who might become an investor in a film he's producing.

All conjecture of course. He might just be there enjoying other people's company. But it does seem like a good place to make connections for future projects.

It is sad, he looks very unwell like he is swelling. Concerns me, he looks beyond exhausted and in a ton of physical pain...he needs to have quiet time and heal...he is too run down. That is what I see, he looks very swelled in the face and neck...my goodness....he needs prayer and has to stop everything and heal before he cannot get out of bed...just saying~ GC you are always gorgeous to me, always, but you need rest, wow....nothing is worth losing your health over.

I've got to say, he doesn't look his best here to me.

I think it's the grubby neckline (he needs a tie) and that the coat and suit don't go together, plus the huddled up pose and unhappy look on his face (surely due to the cold?).

Your right the coat doesn't go with the pants. He probably packed light and only brought one dress coat. He does seem out of sorts. He looked happier with MD at dinner. Maybe he needed a drink?

George looks wonderful but you definately see the pain in his face and he is leaning forward a lot. When you lean forward it takes some of the pressure off the spine. Glad to see him but he needs much prays and some heat treatments. I get very worried.
