George Clooney and Brad Pitt to film Ocean’s 14 in Macau?

After Ocean’s 11, Ocean’s 12 and Ocean’s 13 racked up over $300m each and over $1bn combined, it is almost inevitable that Ocean’s 14 will be made. There have been plenty of rumours regarding Ocean’s 14 and there have even been reports about potential plot lines.

Now, the latest rumour to hit is that George Clooney and Brad Pitt, as well as most of the regular cast, look likely to return and reteam for an Ocean’s 14 movie and that it is set to be filmed in, the special administrative region of the People's Republic of China, Macau.

Macau is currently the dominate force in the casino market and is considered the gambling capital of the world, ahead of Las Vegas. With Macau continuing to grow and produce more casino’s, it is no surprise that it would be considered as a location for an Ocean’s 14 film.

It was recently revealed that Macau are looking to tempt more international movie makers to the city and it would be ideal for Ocean’s 14. Not only does it have plenty of casino’s that Brad Pitt and George Clooney could rob but the European inspired backdrop would look great on the big screen.

However, this is currently just speculation and there has been no confirmation as of yet but it does appear that Ocean’s 14 could be heading to Macau.

Sadly, me too. Ocean's 11 was really great but then they seemed to lose the plot.

I'll love to see George and Brad work to together again, not particularly in Ocean's but together in a movie.

Maybe something better than Burn After Reading, though.

I know when the Oceans series ended there was some talk of doing a prequel showing how the team came to become friends in the first place and maybe showing how Danny ended up in prison and divorced from his wife. Ocean's 10, I guess it would be called.

That might be good.

Ah let um film in Macau. Soderbergh needs a hit badly, Clooney could fund some more satellites, God knows Julia Roberts needs a hit (Valentines Day - puke! Eat Pray Puke (my title)? Larry Crowne? Sorry, I love Tom Hanks but this film sucked too...

Scott Caan and Don Cheadle might have tighter schedules than the others given that they're filming television series.

Brad - well look, if he's doing incoherent Chanel No. 5 commercials then I think a good Ocean's hit would do him and that brood of his good. I mean it costs money to raise kids and all those college education funds he's got to put together -- not to mention the nanny for each of them!

And Matt no more Bourne flicks. Last thing I read about was something about buying a zoo. Did anyone see that film? Was in it theaters more than a week?

So I say Go For It. Bring the fun back into your flicks! Bernie Mac will be missed but I'm sure they can come up with a GOOD concept, get a decent script together and make a film. Even if t doesn't do well here in the US the international box office will most likely make it worth the effort.

I mean, over a billion dollars box office worldwide? That's nothing to sneeze at and dismiss so lightly.

Maybe the plot could include going there to save one of Shaobo Qin kin?

He's got a hot sister in China who has been kidnapped by a casino owner for ransom cause somehow he's mistaken Qin for someone who stole from him.

Brad & George both get the hots for the sister from seeing her picture (I mean she's really beautiful) but then George remembers he's got a wife - or maybe he's divorced cause Julia decides - again - that his life of crime is just too much to handle so it's ok that he's got the hots for the gal. Plus she doesn't want to take the twins to China. Not the movie twins, her real twins.

But Qin's sister meets Matt Damon who has infiltrated the casino by getting himself kidnapped too. So she falls for Matt cause you know he's kinda sweet while George and Brad are still fighting over her despite the fact that she could give a rats ass about either of them cause she's not met them and she's in love with Matt so fuck George and Brad!

Anyhoo, they go to Macau and figure out a way to get the ransom money by robbing a different casino but little do they know that the other casino is run by a drug lord and things get really hot in Macau.

But before they all get rounded up and put in front of a fake firing squad they decide to take a side trip and hit the Great Wall of China but Qin gets pissed cause they're screwing around instead of getting his sister out of her prison.

So they get back, figure some clever way to get her and Matt too out of their predicament and they all end up at a casino in Monaco cause what the hell this is my script idea so I can have it end where ever the hell I want it to end.

And they all lived happily ever after.

the end. fin.

Oh and the ending in Monaco is the prequel to Ocean's 15 just sayin...

Well, maybe its just me, but I ind of liked all of them. Yeah the first of a series is always the best usually, because it is when you are introduced to a film, and it tends to debut in your mind. The next can be less interesting because you already know the plotline by then and are less attracted to it.

But I try to let a film make its impression on me as an individual movie. Thats why I sometimes, when its possible and I have never watched something, start with the last first and go backwards. Find it makes separate impressions that way.

I think George has moved on in his films now to consider another Danny Ocean venture.

Totally agree. Unless they all decided to give all profits to Not On Our Watch and Satellite Sentinel and all associated charities.

Now that would be something - and would certainly be a wonderful story.............
