George Clooney turns 50 this year

HE looks pretty jolly now – but when he turns 50 in May this year, George Clooney is set to find true happiness.
A report yesterday revealed that many people who have passed the landmark birthday are “comfortable and content” with life.
The “age of happiness” emerged in a survey of 1,479 over-50s by Engage Mutual.

A spokesman said: “It is heartening that so many are finding that your 50s can be the most rewarding time of your life. With increased life expectancy, 50 is considered relatively young these days.
“If people have been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and plan their finances, they may start to feel the benefit.
“Household finances start to look healthier and there may be spare cash to spend on holidays and hobbies.”
The study found four out of 10 people aged 50 and over are more content with their lives than ever before.

Many said they felt a sense of achievement from their career.
That certainly applies to actor Clooney, who apart from being one of the world’s most eligible bachelors, has won one Oscar and starred in dozens of films.
