Clooney Mentions in TV Show Dialogue

A diamond cutter is found murdered. Two of the detectives are back at the squad discussing the case.

Det Rigsby: "Did you know that Medelson cut some of the rarest stones of his time? He was considered a master."

Det Cho: "Do you have his client list?"

Det Rigsby: As he holds up a piece of paper - "Yea, you should see this thing, leaders of industry, royalty, Hollywood stars..."

Det Cho: "We need to run them down."

Det Rigsby: "I'm all over it, I've already got a call into Clooney."

Grace Van Pelt. another detective, walks in and gives them some info about the forensics report. Other dialogue ensues afterward Rigsby gets up to leave to meet with the daughter of the diamond cutter. As he's walking out of the room the phone on his desk rings and Det Cho says, "It's alright, I got it." And Rigsby turns around to keep walking out of the room.

Det Cho: "CBI, Oh yea, Mr. Clooney."

Rigsby looks back upset that he didn't get to talk to Clooney. Funny stuff.


I periodically hear George mentioned in dialogue for TV shows and sometimes movies. If I remember any more I'll post. Some are really funny! If anyone else finds some do share.

On NCIS, Michael Weatherly (Tony) refers to George ALOT. His character relates situations to movies, and George and his movies get alot of attention.

I think it was Bones who did a whole episode where the suspect drawing looked like GC. It was kinda funny.

George was mentioned on Two and a Half Men - Alan thought he might be gay. The man he was with said a good way to tell if he's gay is if there is any man he's attracted to. Alan said George Clooney? And the man said "Clooney doesn't count." LOL
