Besides, if he was at the BAFTAs, wouldn't he have shown up with Alfonso Quaron? That would have been his only connection to the awards - or maybe with Matt Damon, who was nominated for "Behind the Candelabra"? - These are his friends, and I can't imagine him being there and not being seen with them.

Joanie, there's no way on earth George Clooney could be at one of the biggest awards ceremonies in Europe - that's being televised live across the world - and not be seen! Think about it: how could a A-list film star go into a ballroom full of other stars and journalists from all over the world and not be recognised? He simply wasn't there.

Well, he is an actor. Used to doing make up changes, if need be. Anyone remember him as the scruffy shaggy old captain in a mock up video he did with some others about last year or so?

I did not know it was him when the video first popped up ,as the one I saw had no names. I later saw it was one that he was doing with others. I don't remember if it was Jan 2012 0r toward the end of the year.

But with George, I can't put anything past him. Hes very agile sneaky type. But in fun way usually. Paps know they need deals to work with him. Because he has wrangled them for ages. They steal a pic when he doesn't want. They could loose their ability to be one for any decent paying company. He goes after things hard when hes of a mind to.

As for the well tapped out carpets... He has avoided them before, even with a woman. Just to show up in another part of the situation, at his seat or table. But he managed to avoid the paps and whatever house coverage there was. And as for not being where the cameras would spot him during the awards, he could have chosen to stay out of sight.

They only went to relevant rows of the ppl involved in those awards. Not everyone sitting up front got a camera shot either. Lots of ppl didn't get spotted(by camera) there, but were prolly there. They fill those seats up with live stars and others. Thousands.

I didn't mean to start the subject up again, but when having these thoughts, I realized that some of you have prolly thought them at one time or another too. Well, just sharing a thought or too.

I think its highly possible for George Clooney to have learned a few tricks of the trade by now. And do pretty much as he pleases. As he so often does. Don't be fooled by his "feel sorry for me when the paps are after me" bit. He loves to use it when its to his advantage. And do we know when its to his advantage, all the time? Of course not. Possibly why he "hires GF PR help".... And no, he can't use Amal that way. It would have to be a REAL relationship this time.

Also, he is talking about retiring...

And I don't really know if he was at the BAFTAs, I don't care anymore about that. But Monica thought he was going to be there. So why would she think being there was going to make a dif in some way, as to her wants? Gotta realize why she does what she does. Its all to get him back, and meeting him at LuLus was prolly what gave her the idea. Depends on what he said to her there. She seemed to think it meant something. Yes, paps sneak photos of him all the time, the blurry ones that he doesn't know are being taken are a big clue!!
There is no Monika and George story - and doubt there ever will be.

Yeah, I am not saying there is a Monica and George story. But he may have been giving her ideas. She unwittingly gave him PR during the fall by claiming to be his GF. Did you see the video she was in where she slipped his name? "I just call him george."? Sure, she prolly was just a Fu_ _ you, thank you, gal for him, but her poor head didn't get that message.

And he must have been planning to be there but may have heard that she was going to be there. Otherwise he wouldn't have said in that video to a fan that yep! he was. But he is allowed to change his mind, of course.

My only real point is that if he had wanted to be there, he could have hidden from her and all else. I believe he could. I am one who believes he knows how to do that.

but its all OK. Everyones ideas and points are well noted. But you could always leave room for possibilities. Thats the way to not end up too surprised. Well, its how I try to keep from being surprised by anything that may happen. Not talking about him on this last sentence.

Agreed Monika probably was/is a bed buddy of his, but you really want to believe that George Clooney was at the BAFTAs in disguise? Fine, let's agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Yes, 'the female' (she's called Monika) released these pictures to the magazine.

Any chick that would release photos like this has one thing in mind, FAME AND MONEY. She isn't interested in getting back with George. She's interested in capitalizing on her old lover's fame.

From Hollywood royalty to a bonafide British prince! Sexy Croatian model Monika Jakisic, an ex-girlfriend of George Clooney, is now dating Prince Andrew, a source reveals exclusively to Us Weekly. Based in London, Jakisic (known as the "Croation Sensation"), 33, and Sarah Ferguson's ex-husband "reconnected through friends recently," the source explains.


Indeed, the low-key pair went on a date to Cecconi's in London to celebrate the British royal's 54th birthday on Feb. 19. "They sat next to each other at an intimate table by the front of the restaurant and were cuddling up to each other," an eyewitness tells Us. "Andrew was making Monika laugh and kissing her hand."

They reconnected in September of last year -- following his split with Stacy Keibler -- with Jakisic sleeping over at his L.A. mansion. WHY people?? I honestly don't understand this "trend"...  IF Prince Andrew is single/unattached, and the two have found one another, WOW SUPER is it not?? Congratulations Monika!!  I hope this "change" will be good for both of you...

There were beautiful moments that George and Monika shared at one time / many times... whatever, and they sure enjoyed one another (there are pictures too on the net for justification ) ... sharing one another in love+peace+joy+happiness, in whatever philosophy, is awesome... George obviously could not put her out there and say, "YES, we had a great time together..." BUT, all he could call her and those loving moments that they shared "in the quiet" when they gave each other one another, was "CRAP" ... unfortunately ...

Come one people... if Stacy can find happiness with Jared, Elisabetta can move on... then surely Monika... (?)  I am happy for her... Prince or pauper, I will be most happy if each of them find happiness with someone who can acknowledge their giving, besides all else, transformation/change etc, as well...

Any woman who posts cryptic messages to "Boo,' stages photos of coffeemakers and basketball courts, and is still circulating 10-year-old pictures of her fling is fair game and has to know it's coming, IMO.

I don't begrudge her anything. I just reserve the right to laugh at her when she gets it.

I often wondered, does "blue blood" trump "red carpet"...lets all hope she thinks so.

On the other hand feel sorry for Andy, but the "love of his life" was Koo Stark.  He has come full circle. (Not in a rude way)
