Not at all.  

Think about it.  She was basically a one-night (or two) stand 6 years ago.

She's been tweeting crap to make it look like she's possibly dating George since she happened to be at a club he was at and got photographed leaving about the same time he did.

The fact that people here keep posting about her and basically wringing their hands over the fact that they think he MIGHT be dating her based on her insipid tweets - some even agonizing about it - again a woman of no significance other than a couple of times fuck ....

seems to me that katiedot got it right.

When you keep agonizing over something that has no significance after a while you have to wonder why and after a while you gotta conclude that there is some amount of pleasure that is being derived from whipping yourself up in fear over nothing.

I guess she likes to talk about it .

Harsh, yes, but unfortunately I think it's true. There are some posters who are beating themselves up over the possibility that maybe Monika may perhaps, sometime ago possibly had some sort of contact with George and are obsessing over it. The thought clearly causes them emotional pain and you have to wonder why they'd do that to themselves when it's obvious that this was nothing more than a one-night stand/meaningless fling if it was ever anything at all.

I don't understand what people are so perplexed over, George has said he is not dating and has not dated her in years. That is good enough for me. We got it straight from him why not just forget about her. She is not relevant when it comes to George.

Yes, that was a deliberate posting about her appearance. And frankly, the only reason I come into this thread is because I'm a mod and check on current postings in the threads for things like duplicate postings, off topic threads, etc. Wish I didn't have to come here or the Eli thread (two distant long ago George probably never thinks about them ex whatevers) but y'all keep posting here so we have to check.

What I find interesting is the certain COHers who never posted in here before now suddenly are making a point to post her tweets. Fascinating.

We need to leave her alone. She obviously wants attention. Lets stop insinuating. Lets just let her be. If George has a problem with her, let him handle it.

Lorna,you owe me explain something? If Ely is an old story and you do not care why you keep naming it in a tread dedicated to Monika Jakisic? You do not do that draw people to the consistency and not to go off topic in the tread but why do not you start to set a good example!

My point for Monika is the same as Eli.  They are both long gone from George's life but posters keep making them seem as if they are relevant, when they are not.  That's why I mentioned her in this thread.

As to setting a good example, why thank you, I'll try much harder to live up to your expectation of what I should or shouldn't be doing.  

As I said in the mods thread.  This is often a difficult job because posters make it difficult.

So continue posting away.  And I'll keep moderating away.  But that doesn't change my opinion of either of these women and their actions.  That you want to idolize one then go ahead continue to do so, but that won't make me change my opinion of her or Monika.  Two of the same type of woman.  Trying to keep something going long after it was over by insinuations and postings on their twitter accounts of things that either are not true, non existent or so far in the past that one has to wonder why they even bother.

Well, we'll never know about the reality of this relationship - 'twas news to me that His Nibs had dated her, thought she was one of many on a yacht, and for all we know they could may or may not have met up in London for drinks or coffee - that may not constitute a 'date' as such. He may also have done the same with Lisa Snowden, Mariella Frostrup, etc etc

It really doesn't matter.........I can only imagine that he'd get pretty cross if he was being used in any way

I do not idealize even God nor George, I like him a lot, but with all its flaws and I do not think they are few but most do not idealize Ely Monika and I find it ugly and neglected the problem is another: if you do the moderator must be moderate that's your problem.

Ok I will play the odd person here and suggest this random theory since this is what everyone doing as if Clooney is just an image and not a real person, what if he was lying? what if he really was with here for a while and when he saw the reaction(remember when TMZ said that Monika is not that pretty and in no way George would be replacing Stacy with her?) he backed off and denied it? The sad thing is if this really happened and the poor woman gets trashed for trying to say the truth...ok fire me now!!

If he's dated others of a similar calibre & even spent time with Monika on a yacht for a couple of days in 2007, there is no reason to deny it if it was true now.  
Personally, I don't find any of his last  2-3 girlfriends attractive. That includes Jakassic.
