IF it's true, I don't think it's a "contract" or long term relationship, just a booty call from an old fling.  Where else could he get such an easy hook-up? If he is not in a relationship he has to get his stress relief from somewhere.

If any of this is true -- which I hope to God it's not -- I'm sure it's because she's good at what George needs at this time (wink wink). There's apparently sexual chemistry between them.

I'm not seeing her on any red carpets, unless he's agreed to trot her out because this is her second go-round and she wants to be taken "seriously." But one reason I'd call 'BS' is that if there were anything to it, she'd wait and post the real deal, not some look-at-me teaser, and he'd make sure it was 'announced' on his say-so, not hers.

Maybe the basketball shots were a way of hinting at what was coming.

You can criticize George for many things, but usually he’s not this obvious with his jumpoffs. George is the kind of man who likes for a relationship to have a definitive end before openly pursuing another woman. I wonder why it’s different in this case? Was it because Stacy clung to him until the very last moment, trying to squeeze every last drop of fame, money and connections from George until he was way past “over it”? Or is George’s M.O. simply changing? I don’t know. But I do have my doubts that this Monika lady is going to be his new Official. But SHE really wants to be.

I suspected for months since May something was brewing. Was waiting for the bomb to drop.

I'm embarrassed for him. The US Weekly statement isn't fitting for an A+++ movie star. Dreadful. It's an uphill struggle with George's girls. I mean, US Weekly is telling us she was a one night stand last week and their chemistry was great.  Like Stacy? And yet never any evidence of great chemistry. He can hardly look at them. I really am cringing.  He needs to change the record. It is so embarrassing. Why even mention it?!

Isn't this the way it started with SK? The break-up announcement between him and EC had just made headlines when there were little tid-bits about him and SK. Nothing was denied and then more stories made the news and booommm a new girlfriend.

I've been at the receiving end of ridiculous untrue gossip in my life. One just laughs it off and feels sorry for the perpetrator who must have a miserable life.

I don't know much about Monika but if it was not right for him last time it surely isn't right now. We have to keep the faith that this is just two old friends getting together to reminisce or something.

He does look tired but also kind of sad. It has to be so difficult for him to meet someone nice. You cannot go around checking out women like in a supermarket, to see if personalities click. As much as he could have almost any woman he wants, how? I don't like seeing him with anyone{wrong of me} I do pray that he is happy and finds the right person for himself somehow.

You can be a person that has it all so people think. But not have someone that you can adapt to and have them adapt to your lifestyle. I feel sad for him.

I was beginning to enjoy seeing George by himself! He certainly does not need any arm candy as he looks better showing up to events by himself. I was hoping that he would give the typical girlfriends thing a rest for a bit. He has lots of red carpets coming up and perhaps a possible Oscar or other award nomination over the coming months. I was hoping that he would try the classy, single man thing for once and show a more mature side...a kind of Pre Oscar PR.

Well I agree that Monika makes Stacy look like a class act, but George never seemed to groove on Stacy - no connection. We commented on it a lot.

I always got the impression they were really good friends with a lot in common.......but who really know?

The timing of this 'rebound' seems a bit off to me. There's a Cate Blanchett tribute gala thingy in NYC tonight and then the Humanitarian Award for Himself tomorrow. Will she show up with all his other friends given that he's apparently talked to her 'a lot' about his causes?

And when he was in Dubrovnik last year, could they have hooked up then?

I have always liked Stacy/George couple. I do believe the articles that George's friends were upset with the break up. She was a fun, happy companion. Something that George has been missing since.

Don't know why but I don't think that Monika is going to show up at any public events right now. Don't know about later down the road I hope not.

Not feeling this one. Something's off. Sure, he may be banging her, but I don't think she even ranks 'rebound' status -- if any of this is any more than self-promotion in the first place.

He meets people everyday. More than the average person.
Surely he'd feel instant connection with someone he met & got to know.
I think he makes excuses for himself & is possibly relying too much on the advice of advisors who ...dissuade him.

Other actors are busy. So are millions of professionals who work a lot longer hours 52 weeks a year, 18 hour days: lawyers, hedge fund managers, doctors, etc....Most have loving real longterm relationships.

George gets a lot of leisure time too.

Never ceases to amaze me the endless pointless reference to the fact that Stacy is a tall woman, standing next to her most of the population would look short! Also no, gossip sites can print whatever rubbish they want to, they do not have to wait for a source to give them a story. Well, that's complete nonsense for a start. It was exactly the same with Stacy Keibler. He ran out of girlfriend mid-Oscars campaign and had to draft someone in pretty quick smart and hey presto! Just six weeks after his supposed split with Elisabetta, in steps Stacy. Don't tell me there wasn't an overlap between the two of them.

And here we are again. George has two films running Oscars campaign and he's jumping from one girlfriend to the next.

I think it's not entirely a coincidence that one day after Stacy goes public with her new boyfriend - a man who's not only much younger but much, much richer than George - that this bit of gossip surfaces. I think he kept the whole Monika thing quiet until she was ready to announce a new guy so that he didn't look so bad. No 'poor Stacy' stories this time round the way we had all the poor Elisabetta stories.

Ok, stop this bullshit conspiracy theory that poor little George is forced against his will into unhappy relationships by his publicity team. His publicity team work for him, not the other way round. If a PR person had to find a fake girlfriend for George they wouldn't be shopping in the gutter for her (sorry, my apologies to any Jakisic fans reading this, but she really does make Stacy and Elisabetta look classy, accomplished and a-list).

Accept that this is George's taste in women. It's what he likes. His poor PR team now have the unenviable task of trying to make this one palatable to an already disgruntled fan base. I wish them the best of luck because they're going to need it.

If you are one of those people who believe that the relationship between George Clooney and Stacy Keibler was one based on love and the possibility of a lifetime commitment between the two you will probably be disappointed to learn that he cheated on Stacy with his ex.

I wish I could say it was one of his fun exes like Sarah Larson who was a waitress and is now the director of a spa in NYC and not one of those kinds of spas where you pay an extra $40 at the end for some fun. It's a legit place and I think she's living very nicely off whatever George paid her to remain silent. Oh and she remains silent. She will talk about in vague terms but that's it. You can feel the bitterness and some other negative things that she wants to say but she holds her mouth so it must be a lot of money she was paid and a lot of money she stands to lose.

Anyway back to who George cheated with is the same woman he has been seeing for the past decade when he needs some special attention his regular women just quite can't scratch. Her name is Monika Jakisic who is Croatian and 33. George has continued to see Monika who also sees other rich and famous men when they too also have a problem that needs her special attention.

It's been reported that George Clooney is cozying up to an old flame following his split from Stacy Keibler earlier this summer.

The perpetual Hollywood bachelor is rumored to be spending lots of quality time with Croatian model, and former love interest, Monika Jakisic, after reuniting with her at a London nightclub. And by the looks of it, these two aren't exactly a new item.

Back in 2007, photos surfaced of them getting super cuddly aboard a yacht in St. Tropez. The two were joined by Clooney's longtime BFF Rande Gerber and his gorgeous wife Cindy Crawford.

Flash forward five years and a few girlfriends later for the Hollywood A-lister, Jakisic penned an article about her one-time boyfriend and his arrest while protesting political issues in 2012.

She wrote about Clooney's political concerns and how deeply involved he was with Sudan's issues at the time.
"Every time, I've been out with George—he's always passionately talked to me about the humanitarian crisis raging in the area—even if we've been partying," she revealed.

But what's most important to note is that the beautiful brunette called the Ocean's Eleven star her "good pal."
Who says exes can't be friendly, right?! But it looks like the two may be getting back to their romantic roots in 2013.
On June 5, the model posted a pic of her hanging out with Gerber and Crawford once again on her Facebook.

The image shows all three sitting on a white couch with silver balloons surrounding them. (Side note: Clooney and Keibler announced that their relationship had ended days later.) While it's unclear as to whether the party of three was joined by Clooney, history has shown that Gerber and his buddy are often together.

And the latest tell-tale signs that the 52-year-old is heating things up with Jakisic? She's been tweeting up a storm about enjoying a mini vacation in sunny Los Angeles—where, you guessed it, Clooney is currently staying as well.

On Sept. 25 she wrote, "So glad to be back in LA: great weather, better company."
