Thanks for posting - I didn't realize he'd be on Meet the Press today. Good interview and he made some points that were quite accurate. The Dems are pretty bad at tooting their own horns! President Obama has had some successes and has delivered on campaign promises but people seem to want to forget that.

Whether you agree with it or not, he promised to bring in a health care plan and got it passed. Yes, it's still being challenged but he's gotten further than any other President has ever gotten in this respect.

He promised we would find and bring Bin Laden to justice and he did just that.

But the media doesn't report this - they only report the continual bad-mouthing and nay-sayers who shout the loudest whilst doing the least!


BTW I did notice that Meet the Press used my avatar picture at one point during the interview!

That's right, George mentioned in one of his intrviews that the Republicans wouldn't hesitate to "toot their own horn" while the Dems don't.

I liked the Meet the Press interview the best. David Gregory got more out of him and I liked how he asked political questions too. I agree with GC that the Democrat's aren't very good at showing what they have done. I am technically a registered Republican but consider myself an Independent. I did vote for Obama and probably will again....the Republicans don't realize that there are more moderates around then tea partyiers......I have not been totally happy with Pres Obama but I am not unhappy either. I am more annoyed at Congress at this point. I have a feeing the nomination process will go to the convention...which means I get to vote in the primary( remember I am technically a Republican)....although I have to wait until June.
