George Clooney ready to be a dad?
Thursday, 8 March 2012
George Clooney has reportedly changed his mind about becoming a father.
The 50-year-old actor has been vocal in the past about never wanting to get married again and fatherhood not being on his list of priorities.
But he is said to be totally in love with his 32-year-old girlfriend Stacy Keibler and is warming to the idea of starting a family together.
"Stacy is completely head over heels in love with him, and she knew going into the relationship that he wasn't likely to marry her," a source told In Touch.
"But she is really ready to have a child and feels that George would make the perfect father."
A friend told the publication that the loved up twosome had "the talk" recently where they discussed where their relationship was going. The Oscar winner was apparently the one to address the idea of having a baby.
"George brought it up first, but Stacy thinks it's a good idea," the insider added.
"George is constantly telling her how perfect she is for him in every way."
The Hollywood heartthrob's 11-year-old The Descendants co-star recently joked that "he wouldn't be the best as a father" after he let her eat seven bowls of ice cream on set.

Goo Goo Ga Ga Bullshit! Brahahaha!
Well, okay, I guess it COULD happen. Probably better odds though that Stacy will win the lottery first -- so if I were she I'd buy a ticket!

Re: Baby Talk?
George has made his feelings on parenthood pretty clear. I don't think anyone except these magazines are that delusional to think this has any chance of happening.

Re: Baby Talk?
Yeah, right. As if they had any such talk within the hearing of a tabloid journalist!
The only such talk they would have had is him telling her it's not happening and never will. He'll get married before he has children and we all know how likely that is!!

Well Joanna now that you ask...once everyone gets themselves UP off the floor (which is where they landed when they heard the news) I think we'd all be "suddenly speechless", quite frankly! LOL
I KNOW! Can you imagine everyone here NOT having anything to say?

Re: Baby Talk?
I agree Lighter. Good question Joanna!! I'm not absolutely sure how I'd feel. If it was what he really wanted, I would want to be happy for him. If it was a trap, I'd be pissed at HER. Children are NOT pawns and shouldn't be used to "win" a man or be "set for life". If he ever finds TRUE love and would want to settle down and have a family, I would be happy for him. That would be after my stay in ICU with the heart attack I would have after throwing myself off a bridge and breaking every bone in my body.

Good grief Mel, don't do that. Let's face facts ladies if George ever did father a baby we can be certain no one would ever find out. He would take care of the child but, like so many celebs it would be under wraps. IMO

Re: Baby Talk?
I would be happy for him if he married someone who loves him for himself and not his fame, money, and lifestyle. Do you think Stacy would "love" George if he made a comfortable living and had a "nice" home? I'm sure not. I think he's handsome; however, when I was 32, if I had the choice of him or someone like Geoff Stults (even though George is more famous and has more money), I would have chosen Stults. I think George knows this about the women he chooses to date. I also think he's too smart to ever marry one of them. He's probably looking at the Dennis Quaid divorce news this week and going, "Dennis, you dumb ass - didn't you know this would happen?"

Thanks...Those are all very interesting/funny/off the wall
comments !
Wouldn't Nina & Nick throw a party though....
and one of the guests "kiss & tell" ????
I'd like to think that IF 1, 2 & 3 happened, he'd be so proud that he wouldn't be able to keep it quiet.
Mel.... do think again about your actions....we'd SO miss you !!!

Re: Baby Talk?
It's me this is a playground song....we used to sing it in grade school....
(boy name) & (girl name) ---two kids in school usually
sitting in a tree:
K-I-S-S-
I-N-G
First comes love,
then comes marriage,
then comes baby
in a baby carriage!
It was usually sung to tease kids who might like each other or if the kids knew there was a boy a certain girl liked....
Kind of silly but it was kids game...

If he wanted to become a father, just let adopt me, I immediately grandchildren will provide
But seriously, this is a great desire. Such beauty should not disappear without leaving a trace, and the time mercilessly...
With the nomination mommy I can't agree. A little bit of it rather stupid some but beauteful.

Re: Baby Talk?
I would be stunned and I'm betting George would be too if the vasectomy story is right. Krista did try and start some pregnancy rumours which George denied himself. I agree with Katie George would marry a girl before he had kids he is old fashioned like that. And yes of course we would know about any child he would have just like we do about the Cruises, Pitt Jolies etc. He couldn't keep that a secret! I'm sure Stacy would be thrilled but going by the work she is doing I don't see this on the cards for her with George!

Re: Baby Talk?
They might not necessarily make beautiful babies...how many times have I seen a good looking couple with a funny looking child....and vice versa....I once knew a couple who were not exactly handsome but they had the most beautiful baby.....so while the chances are good that they could make a pretty child it is not always the case....

Yeah, I would find it very hard to believe that a man of his character would keep any child of his hidden and unacknowledged. My impression is that he is too caring a person to not fully commit to being a father; including public acknowledgement and support. Also, I find it hard to imagine he would knowingly father a child with a woman with whom he wasn't in a long term, committed relationship - be they married or not. Only time will tell, but based on his track record, a six month relationship with SK doesn't fall into that category. But what do I know? Precious little. Just me speculating on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
