George Clooney: "The role of father is the biggest challenge of my career"
Sara Bianchessi in Star Cinema.

George Clooney in Darfur has fought and risked their lives on the set of Syriana, but her father, not that for him is a very unusual riolo. The actor will play a bitter father in heaven, in cinemas from 17 February, and considers the biggest challenge of my carriera.George, in an interview to the weekly, this role defines a great challenge and said that could never be father:
It 'was the biggest challenge of my career. Because I do with this part, has nothing to do. I am neither could never be a father. The fact remains that the experience has affected me. When you direct the actors that may be your children, is one thing when a father must be credible, from the emotional point of view, is different. The public must believe that I, Shailene and Amara are truly a family.

His performance in Paradise Bitter allowed Clooney to win the Golden Globe for best dramatic actor and is very likely that on February 26 Bisser winning the Oscar. The beautiful George, about the awards, said:
The prizes are of course always welcome, but what matters is the commitment I made to become a different person than they are. Or a father.

The actor does not regret not having had children:

No. I've made choices, I want to be consistent with myself. I'm not a "family man", I can not talk about the daily life of a father or of his emotions and conditions piscologiche. It is true that now I look at friends who have children with different eyes: it is a special bond. But that does not mean that I envy them. Or that I have no regrets.

Clooney to get better in the role was inspired by his friends Brad Pitt and Matt Damon;
To prepare, I thought to my friends Brad and Matt. Especially the latter, having four girls, was my guide: I thought of him, how to start to worry when more guys ... Maybe I speak of a father jealous of those who are raised until their daughters back, which The pawns. How do I tell? The fact remains that, on returning to my friend Matt, every time I meet him I think that having pre-adolescent daughters is complicated.

The actor continues to feel very child:
The truth is that I continue to feel first of all, son. I am 51 years old, almost, but the most important people are my parents. If today is the man that you know, it's thanks to them. As a teenager I have not experienced the stage of generational conflict, but I was ambitious, anxious because I had a thousand interests: My father taught me to direct them in the right direction. This must be done, a parent: addressing the children, especially adolescents.

Her girlfriends will have to resign, George did not just going to be a dad. Unless someone will not be able to change his mind.

Even with the translation difficulties I have, to me he states it a little differently in this article about not wanting/having kids.

"No. I've made choices, I want to be consistent with myself. I'm not a "family man", I can not talk about the daily life of a father or of his emotions and conditions piscologiche."

secondly... he was talking (if, as I already said) about the character

he also said (...) he is looking at parents in a different ways

I'd also love to know whether he really said that or if the journalist didn't completely understand what George said.

This is the first time I've read George admit that he may have had regrets about not having had children.

Girl sorry is the fault of the translation not of the reporter he said he does not envy those who have children. When you use certain words in Italian translation in English has a contradictory meaning. Sorry but this is the difficulty when translating word for word

Thanks Lelacorb. That's much more in line with what we usually hear George saying. So, he has no regrets about not having children.

When I first read it Katie, I was a bit confused too. I think that he admires that his friends, or other people in general, have that ability to have that bond with their children, but it's not what he has or wants.

I think that maybe one day they will, when the sick old man will miss someone who will care for him only for love!
