Angelina Snubs Stacy,” reads a headline from Us Weekly, which goes on to claim that Angelina Jolie was extremely rude to George Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, when the couple shared a private jet with Jolie and Brad Pitt to the Palm Springs Film Festival on January 7.
According to a source for the mag, “Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane.”

I wouldn't be too surprised if there was truth in this. I could totally see this. The "source" could easily be one of the attendants - even on a private plane they usually have at least one.
And we haven't heard SCC tweet or comment about Angie at all. Why would she miss an opportunity to famewhore out with Angie's name? Wrestler girl met her match in Jolie

Probably the great actress does not want relations with ex wrestler! However, for years now on we read gossip magazines that Angelina can not stand George who was a close friend of Aniston. For years, George no longer invites Laglio while almost every year invites Matt Damon and family ......gossip has always been a part of the truth!

Because she’s not like the vapid hookers he usually spends time with. I mean, really, he could spend two years with Elisabetta Canalis and yet he’s “bored” by a conversation with Angelina? Angelina Jolie has admitted before that she doesn't have many female friends. According to The National Enquirer, she won't be making a new one anytime soon.
The Oscar winner can't stand George Clooney's new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler -- even though they've never met! The Enquirer reports that Angelina snubbed Stacy at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and ordered Brad Pitt to keep his distance from the former Dancing with the Stars contestant, as well.
"Angelina is quick to judge, and she decided early on she wanted no part of this woman," a "source" dishes to the mag. "It makes things uncomfortable for Brad and George since they are best friends."
Angelina and Stacy got off on the wrong foot when, early in her romance with George, the former pro wrestler tweeted: "Brad Pitt wouldn't be bad to look at every day!" Stacy's right -- Brad's a smokin' hottie. But Angelina didn't appreciate Stacy's keen observation.
"From then on, Angelina's been deriding Stacy," another "insider" tells The Enquirer. "She doesn't like any woman even joking about wanting Brad, especially one who actually has access to him. She sees this girl as nothing more than a former cheerleader and pro wrestler and tells Brad, 'George can do better than that!'"
Well, that's true, actually. He's George Clooney. He could have his pick of any supermodel or A-list lady in Hollywood. He doesn't have to slum with cocktail waitresses and Italian prostitutes and former pro wrestlers. So Angelina Jolie has a point. And she refuses to budge, deciding to do interviews at Palm Springs "so she didn't have to interact with Stacy."
"She's been adamantly opposed to the two couples going out together, even though George and Brad hang out a lot," The Enquirer's source says.
Angelina won't have to worry about avoiding George for long. He doesn't date ladies for more than a year or two, and since he's already five months in with Stacy Keibler, her time could be almost up. And his rollout of Stacy as his official girlfriend was clumsy, to say the least, so he might have just wanted a steady date for awards season and she was the first person who fit the bill. But if Angelina plans to avoid every woman who thinks Brad's hot, she's never going to talk to a female ever again, so she should get over that.

I'm going to have to say I am Team Stacy on this load of BS. I would much rather have a chat with her than Angie HOlie. AJ comes across as an arrogant biyotch. I can't imagine how on Earth you'd have a conversation with her without hearing all about what a Saint she is.

I couldn't pick up the celebs.gather article but I think there's no chance Angelena could drive a wedge between George and Brad. And I'm with you MyGirl, I would much rather have a conversation with Stacy than the ice queen Angie.

Can't you just see that kiebler fanishly ass kissing up to her favourite - Pitt. That would be very, very annoying to everyone on board - everyone.

First, I'm pretty sure Palm Springs is about a 25-35 minute flight from LA. The drive, with traffic, can take two hours, so if you can afford to fly, why not? But on a flight that short, there's not a lot of time for conversation outside of "Hi, how are you, good".
Second, when George was asked on the red carpet (at either Palm Springs or the Critic's Choice Awards, can't remember) about double dating with Angie and Brad, he said he hadn't seen Brad in about six or seven months. How is that possible if they flew out together? Especially if, as according to the Enquirer, "George and Brad hang out all the time".
Yup, I'm pretty sure this story is made up out of whole cloth from start to finish. As someone on Celebitchy said, last week Angie criticized US Weekly about a different untrue story they published about her, and it looks like someone at the magazine's feelings got hurt. This story also fits the tabloids' narrative that Angie is a cold, controlling b***h, which sells magazines. I happen to like her, but I could also see her not having very much patience for a girl like Stacy. I'm sure she was polite (she was pleasant enough to Ryan Seacrest, who she can't stand for real and for good reason, on the Golden Globes carpet). I'm not sure why everyone is expected to be BFFs with George's girlfriends just because they're his girlfriend. I bet Cindy's been dying to straight up ignore these chicks for a long time.

I'm finding this bit of gossip fairly bizarre, but I'm also wondering who it is supposed to benefit/damage the most? Is the intent to make Angelina look awful, so as to downplay any hope for an Oscar nomination for her film? Or is it a side-swipe at George because of the company he chooses to keep, and it's someone's weird attempt to send him a message that his image isn't being helped by the likes of Amazon Barbie? It also makes her look like a second-class citizen with no right to be on the same planet as the Brange, so definitely not complimentary for her purposes either. Given that this is all happening during the time when Oscar noms are being discussed, I wonder if it's a lame attempt at influencing voters' opinions one way or another.
Then again, the tabloid rags probably figured they needed a new angle to capitalise on...after all, the Brad/Angie/Jen storyline is old and maybe it's not selling as much as in the past. George and Barbie would be fresh meat for their stories.

I go for your second option, Duffy. I think it's just a question of getting as many celeb names into the story as possible.
People like reading about controversy and nastiness so a negative story about a celeb will sell much better than a nice one.

I thought it was funny that in the first telling of the story, Angie didn't like Cray because she isn't a "girly girl", yet, the first thing we heard about Cray, was that she was a "guy's girl", not a girly girl. So, on that they should have gotten along fine.
I also think that if things were that cold between GC and AJ, they wouldn't have flown together, pretty sure they could both afford a small jet for a two hour flight.
Maybe next we'll hear that AJ and Cray hated each other so much they were actually wrestling....

The sad reality is that someone on that plane a flight attendant or someone else sold the story and made money...I could have paid off my house a 100 times over with the things I know...Not my style though, although tempting.
Of course Stacys camp is going to deny it..it makes her look bad that Angie chose not to speak to her! It also helps to keep the gossip hounds from assuming that one of Stacys friends or Stacy herself let it leak! Sorry gotta say there is some TRUTH to this story!!!

I believe I read (don't know where) that George hitched a ride back to LA on Brad's private jet. That makes sense in conjunction with his statement that he hadn't seen Brad in at least six months or a year.

AJ probably just wanted some quiet time (maybe a quick nap?) and didn't anticipate having to entertain anyone on the flight . She was probably just as pisssed off at Brad as anyone else. It's possible she would have acted a little antisocial regardless of who was on the flight. In most "he said, she said" the truth is usually in the middle.

Used to visit Palm Springs frequently when I lived in LA. It is about a 2 hour drive, IF there is no traffic (very big IF.) The real question is are they flying into a small private airport that is close to their next destination; then it would be even more logical to fly.
I admire AJ, but I do realize that she is a very strong person. I am sure she makes most of the decisions in her relationships. If G is also decisive then there could be some disagreements between the two, especially concerning Brad's choices. Now if AJ had been chatty with SK, don't you think that it would end up in SK's twitter page that the two are now friends? I am sure AJ is wary of girls she doesn't know getting too close. And I can't see SK being passive to accommodate AJ. There is usually at least a grain of truth to celebrity gossip.

I"m sure Angie would be polite and say hello do I think they had some deep meaningful conversation no. It is in Stacy's best interest for everyone to think they get along. And yes I too think she would have tweeted something inane about Angelina being her new BFF or how great she was. I think the original story was they flew back together in which case they all would have been tired and I can see George and Brad chatting but Angie may off had a nap so she didn't have to get stuck talking to Stacy. I don't think Angie is as mean as some make out but I don't think she puts up with girls like Stacy either. She doesn't need too. Besides everyone knows next awards George will probably have some other girl so I doubt she or anyone else bothers to get too close to Stacy. Except Einstein who has no choice!

Also, because of my CRS, didn't George say that they flew to NYC together? So, was it Palm Springs or NYC? Or both? I don't believe that Angelina would purposely snub Stacy, but I agree about the not getting close to George's tarts and probably not having a whole lot in common. If Angelina heard the story about how Stacy feels about Brad, and all the other stories about these other girls trying to steal Brad, she may be a little defensive. Do I believe that Stacy would lie on TV? Hell yes. She's not going to say - "oh she was such a bitch to me...". We weren't there, so we'll never know what really happened, IF anything happened at all.

Neither is Octavia Spencer, but that didn't stop Stacy from tweeting about being her new "bestie". I don't think she cares about who she's tweeting about as much as people SEEING who she's tweeting about.

I know for a fact that George Clooney's fans aren't jealous of his girlfriends. Ok, I can't speak for all of his fans, but most of the vocal ones on this forum I can be certain of.
[BTW, if there's anyone here who actually IS jealous of his girlfriends (current or past, I don't care which) feel free to let me know.]
I also know for a fact that his fans generally just don't accept his girlfriends. This is based my experience of over 10 years of being an online fan myself on pretty much all the George Clooney fansites. If you go back to the really old forums, even Celine Balitran was hated on at the time he dated her.
It's the normal procedure by now: George Clooney gets a new girlfriend, the fans start picking her apart and find her substandard. I think the reason for that is simply because the girlfriends by and large haven't been all that spectacular and make him look bad by association. We're his fans and we're particularly protective of him. That's got nothing to do with jealousy.

First this story is hysterical so high schoolish. Second, I think their is a smidgen of truth to this, in that I have met Angelina Jolie. I met her in a business setting, and she was very nice, but quiet. She's not a talker, and from what I know about Stacy from other people she is a talker. It may have seemed like a snub to the lovely person who sold the story, but wasn't.

I agree Madsky, I have always felt that AJ is somewhat shy, lots of actors are and the persona on the Red Carpet and interviews is difficult for them....shy people sometimes are perceived as being aloof or cold....sort of stuck up...when in fact there is just an innate shyness in certain situations.

Okay, I don't know if anyone else noticed in the video provided by Katiedot, when Stacy described her character in her movie coming out in February, she said, "my character wanted to be a model/actress but turns in somewhat of a gold digger." I spit out my diet coke because I thought well, movies really do reflect true life. LOL That just cracked me up.....still laughing. Ah, I love irony.

Madsky, silly girl, would agree with both of you, never met AJ don't even see many of her movies, loved GI, and the one she did CRS-alert can't remember the title but she played the wife of the reporter who was killed, a true story. Anyway from watching her over the years in different settings I could see her sitting quietly with a smile on her face while SK talked about who knows what.
