Re: The evolution of George's teeth
Have to agree with Pattygirl I'd love to have the money to spend on my teeth, no matter what your age it's one of the most confidence building things you can do for yourself, then there is the health reasons.

And, a revival of the story:

The ladies flock to George Clooney these days, but it seems his gnashers weren't always quite so welcoming.

The actor's had some help to make his teeth ready for his close-up.

Katie, you must have been feeling my vibe!! I was only watching The Peacemaker the other night, and noticed that G's teeth were awfull!!! I wonder if anyone can pinpoint when he had his teeth done? Both top & bottom were higgelty-piggity, so we need to check film by film after this one! Anyone up for the challenge with some spare time to go a huntin' Georgie?!!! I'd be interested to know!

Re: The evolution of George's teeth
I wouldn't say awful. His lower teeth were a mess but his upper teeth more or less ok.
He first had work a very long time ago. When you look at really old pictures of him, before he became famous, you'll notice that he has a tooth at the top front that's slightly skew-whiff but that went a long time ago.
He then got veneers (I think) for the top front teeth, then later more. Then most recently, his bottom teeth have also been straightened out.

I may be the odd ball of the group, but if I were in a room with him even with his teeth were messed up, I wouldn't have cared. It's George Clooney! Good teeth, bad teeth, doesn't matter to me. Love him irregardless. Also, I am pretty sure that if most of us opened wide, we could all spot a problem or two. I say, if I am going to be a true fan, I have to love him for who he is completely.

Sure, I don't think anybody here's bothered by his old teeth and there's quite a few who don't like his new chiclet teeth. George obviously does have problems because he was the one who changed them.

Re: The evolution of George's teeth
Seems like it's the trend in entertainment these days, and so it will no doubt carry over to mainstream--hell it already has! I have a friend who went in and got all veneers for the front teeth done. They look good but I wonder how long they last? And, she spent $15000 for those toofers!

Re: The evolution of George's teeth
Long term Reflux can destroy the enamel of the teeth, as can drinking too much C$$$e or P$$$i. The veneers are therefore a
very valuable development in dentistry.
I don't know how long they last.

Re: The evolution of George's teeth
I cannot remember where I heard this the story goes;
that the little daughter in the Descendants came up with her head some how and hit George in the mouth and broke his teeth. Payne walked into his trailer and there was George crazy gluing his teeth together because he had a close-up scene next.

I had a hard day at work today ladies and have enjoyed reading all the comments regarding gazing at George's teeth which can be exciting, however, there are other parts I'd love a look at that would excite me even more!

Carolina you bad girl! You made my day! I quite agree. Many, many more parts that are much more interesting than his teeth. Although he could do some very nice things with those teeth!

Gotta say this thread is hysterical. I love you guys! You come up with some really creative stuff when Ol' George is in hiding. And yes, I can be creative myself, when need be...
