"The One" - George Clooney's secret girlfriend

I have reason to believe that G was not with E anymore than he was ever with S for more than a very brief fling. Both girls publicists set G up so he could keep his true lovers private. G has stated he dislikes tattoos on ladies, so why didn't she respect his views? As I was raised in a small town atmosphere like G, I am not surprised the American public responded negatively to her ungracious attitude and arguments with her dance instructor, and the tattoos add to the perception by some that she is too low-class. I do not know how G put up with her behavior for so long.

Davida, Eli had those tattoos when she met George. Did you expect her to have them removed? George couldn't have minded them too much or he wouldn't have bothered getting involved with her.
While tattoos can be distasteful (I personally think dirty looking), they don't designate someone as low class.

George has dated women who "the American public" would find distateful for the best part of 10 years. That includes a soft core porn star and men's magazines model and a rumoured escort worker.

Why do you think only the last two women were fake?

You say you "have reasons to believe". What reasons would those be?

I ask because I first heard the 'secret girlfriend' story about the woman who George really loves and is his soulmate but he has to keep her hidden away for undisclosed reasons in 2004. It was posted by someone who now calls herself prefertoremainanonymous on IMDb.

And of course, there's that crazy woman who calls herself Joann/GuessWho/MrsRib/thmsngrb/primeve (among many other nicknames) who created two blogs in March 2010 "proving" how she was going to marry George. She and her sock puppet accounts have been populating the internet ever since trying to tell the whole world about her secret existence.

I'd guess that you've been taken in by someone who desperately wants to believe she's dating George.

"The One" doesn't exist IMO either Lorna but there's plenty willing to believe.

It originates from fans who are simply unable to accept that their precious hero George has such terrible taste in women. As far as I know, it originated when he was dating Krista Allen, soft core porn actress (although she'd long moved to 'legit' acting by the time he was with her). The fans needed to find a reason for why he's with such an unsuitable woman, and - fuelled by obsessed poster(s) who wanted people to think that they were with George - came up with this fairy tale.

Sincere thanks to Sisieq and to those who understood what I was trying to communicate. I am very sensitive (makes one a good actress) and I didn't find where you put this thread so that I could properly defend myself. Katiedot that is why I should follow G's lead on keeping quiet about certain things. No matter what you say no one will believe the truth, especially if there are unusual twists. Suffice to say I have only been following G for the last 2 years and I see absolutely NO CHEMISTRY with either E or SK when they are in public. And as I told you I am a SAG actress and I worked in "Up in the Air" when it shot here in Las Vegas.

Actually I remember the one stories from way back before Krista was on the scene. Back on the ByGeorge board it was discussed at great legnth. There seem to be several "the ones" all with stories as to why she and George can't be together. The fact of the matter is George chooses the girls he does and I believe it's because he doesn't want anyone really serious. If there truly was 'the one' she would surely be fed up by now and I don't believe she exists. So you worked on Up in The Air with George wasn't he with Eli then? No one saw that much chemistry between George and Eli and it is hard to see him and Stacy as being anything other then a fling. And that is the way George likes it for now at least. I wouldn't believe the imdb nutters they live in their own world and as others have said there have been several go way overboard the last few years. There's no reason he can't be with someone - unless that someone was male. I don't for a moment believe George is gay, but that is the inescapable conclusion all these 'The One' fantasies result in.

Having worked in Hollywood I know that some publicized relationships are "faked" because it is hard to start dating someone you truly care about and be constantly questioned by the paps when you are going to get married. Some "romantic interests" are shy or private and do not want that level of scrutiny, either early in a relationship or ever. That doesn't necessarily mean the person is gay or bi for "officially" dating someone arranged by agents, someone who could help that person's career by the "phony relationship." Perhaps the "true love interest" has a career that could be harmed by notoriety or is so wealthy they want to keep things quiet. I do believe that some of G's females are very brief flings and others are longer term but I've only seen G on TV with E and SK and neither one look at him in a sexual/loving/passionate way. I also see very, very limited eye contact and if you see any of G's movies you know he uses his eyes constantly to convey emotion. Davida-Rochelle

That's not love that you're describing, Davidarochelle, it's called being a fan.

Imagine if this secret partner you described existed, she could never marry George, never have children with him (or do you think someone as famous as George could have a secret family and no one know about it?), could never travel with him, never go to events, dinners or parties with him, could never see him on a film set or photoshoot, and has to live her whole life telling everyone that she's single while George is seen by the whole world to be dating these other women.

A fan would put up with this for some time, but for 10 or 15 years? Nope. That's not love.

Because if you've worked in Hollywood you'd know film sets are gossip rife and a star with a secret girlfriend gets talked about. Unless of course that person never visits the set, never calls the star on the phone and the star never calls them where he can be overheard etc etc etc. Likewise with parties, dinner and other events. The only way to avoid gossip is simply never ever to attend them and therefore never be seen together.

This secret partner would have to be unknown to everyone, including friends and family because people do talk.

No I am saying that many famous actors at certain points in their career go to red carpet events with "arranged partners" for publicity. Everyone "on the inside" knows the truth and being on a film set means listening to non-stop gossip. We all know the paps often write what they're told to write and I know of specific instances (and I am not now talking about G) where even the paps know they are publishing blatant lies. I don't believe G has ever had or wants kids, and I do believe some of his flings were much longer than others. I know he wants to help all of their careers by his association. He sometimes sees other girls (note my use of the plural, and not just "the one") that the paps never talk about because of the girls' decisions and desire for complete privacy. Davida-Rochelle

For publicity, yes, but that's when both are famous. The best known example of this is Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn when they were making that film together which most people openly questioned.

It's not unknown for an agent who has two single stars of similar stature to get them to 'date' in public to get each of them a bit of a boost.

That's not the same as faking two year long relationships in order to hide another relationship (although that is also well known in Hollywood and is used to hide gay liaisons) and you'll notice that the important point is that the couple are each famous. That's not the case with George and anyone he dates.

If George's relationships with Stacy or Elisabetta were set up by publicists, then they would have picked someone his fans would like, wouldn't they? Someone who would make him look good by association.

Agree with you totally on this. I'm quite sure he dates many women who fly under the radar. Despite a lot of whinging to the contrary on this forum George is a pretty private person and can disappear when he wants to. We sometimes hear about the women he's dated years later and sometimes not at all.

That again indicates he's not in a secret relationship with anyone unless she's also fine with him sleeping around.

First not all set-ups are with someone equally famous, just as some stars end up living with or marrying "normal folks." Sexual exclusivity (unfortunately) is not the norm in Hollywood for singles or marrieds. G is known to be very honest with his girls, so I am sure that most would be very disappointed about lack of sexual exclusivity but accept the compromise. Also G guides the careers of his lovers. Many find it easier to get notoriety to ensure future jobs by showing-off their figures, rather than challenging themselves as actors by doing theater or taking acting classes. Wow this thread is intense and a little confusing but Davida if you have some info you want to share then share. What is on COH is all personal opionion, if you have something interesting to say, say it in a constructive way and your personal opionion will be noted and thought about and other people I am sure will have their opinion.

I have found that if I ever say anything to anybody about my life experiences I live to regret it because others misinterpret what I say. I was concerned that some of the posters here state things I know to be otherwise. I will say I talked to "someone" when I worked on UITA that was not lying.
