Re: Clooney, Great shots from the past
Thanks Cindy for pics. Pic #10 with his arm around his grandmother, how so very sweet. I seem to remember that she died around 2005 (according to George), the worst year of his life, the same year as Syriana and his bulldog got killed by a snake. Somebody please correct me (I know you will haha) if I'm wrong.

Re: Clooney, Great shots from the past
How sad! I miss my Grandmother! Once, after she passed, when I was in church singing, I thought I heard her singing behind me. I turned around and there was a gentleman sitting a couple of rows back. It wasn't him! He always said he had a terrible voice so he never sang. My Grandmother had a very distinctive voice. She was a beautiful singer. My whole family is wonderful singers, musicians, and… I cannot leave out characters! LOL

CRS has set in. Knew I spelled it wrong, but I did mean drool. At least I think I did. Maybe it was one of those freudian slips....Maybe. LOL

Since I'm older than both of you (perhaps combined?), I got there first.

Thanks for the picstures. I have the one of him and his grandma as a screensaver I think it is lovely. It was a very bad year that year his sister lost her husband as well.

Dex, actually George's sister lost her husband on October 11, 2004 and he lost his aunt Rosemary in 2002. It seems the 21st century didn't start out well for him. I hope it continues much better for him. He deserves it.

And a motor.
Yes, age is a state of mind. CRS is part of that state. Age is also aches and pains, creaks and cracks.

Aw, age is like fine wine- the older it gets, the better it is. At least that's what I tell myself.

Re: Clooney, Great shots from the past
I refuse to act it, too. However, I sometimes get looked at funny because of it. The presumption is that because of my "age" I must be losing it. Who knows, maybe I am, but I'll have some fun in the meantime.

The age may get better, but the body's not like fine wine - more like a $2.00 bottle of Thunderbird.

Whoa pattygirl, a $2.00 bottle of Thunderbird? I have more class than that - I drink a $12.00 jug of Carlo Rossi sangria LOL.

Re: Clooney, Great shots from the past
Lots of stuff is good for the soul. We're talking bodies here. How much does a $2.00 bottle of Thunderbird cost now a days, and do they still make it?
Don't have jugs of wine in the house anymore. They're too tempting. Last wine I bought was from New Hope Winery Store and they were halfs. I used them mostly for cooking anyway. They were good though. My soul can't take too much goodness anymore.
