Brad Pitt and George Clooney Have N.Y.C. Night Filming Apple Thriller 'Wolves

Really disappointing that George is going through with working with this guy again after the truly disturbing details of the abuse allegations against him were made public in the FBI report. If and when the situation really blows up, he won’t be able to claim he didn’t know, like he did with Harvey Weinstein. Just a bad look all the way around.

I think George is more likely to take the view that most men would, I suspect that it's nothing to do with him.
 
But I am doubly disappointed that he is working with Apple of all people, given the way that the company behaves like this.........

A couple of the screenwriting forums have stories of writers etc hanging around the set in Chinatown, and getting to meet George. Universally say he's as nice as they come, and generous with his time.

Re: Brad Pitt. I suspect that there is more than a little emotional generosity and loyalty to a longtime colleague, who was admittedly in the throes of alcoholism when whatever happened happened. Pitt has since cleaned up his act, and was not known to be a violent person before or since. At least, that's probably how I'd look at it if Pitt were a friend/colleague of mine.

PAN - The cobalt issue is depressing. It seems that any ecological/technological solution comes with consequences that negate its benefits. I don't know how we move forward if the downside to each remedy is as damaging as the original problem.

Even if George knows about this, do you think there's anything he could do to change it? Besides bringing attention to the situation, anything done to make things better would probably raise costs and lead to many people losing employment. It appears there aren't other jobs to replace these, or people wouldn't be doing this backbreaking work. The money the children bring in is probably much needed by their families. It's a sad situation that doesn't have an easy solution.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney were hard at work on Thursday night.

The two longtime friends and actors were seen on the set of their upcoming Apple thriller Wolves looking dialed into their characters as they filmed chilly, nighttime scenes for the movie in New York City's Chinatown neighborhood.

Pitt, 59, wore a black leather jacket, and a gray, zippered sweater over a classic white-button down shirt, while Clooney, 61, layered his dark outerwear with another jacket over a black turtleneck.

Both sported facial hair and grins as they sat side-by-side in a car while shooting one scene.

The off-screen pals' newest project has the actors playing "lone wolf fixers assigned to the same job," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home) is writing, directing and producing the film, while Pitt and Clooney are also producing through their respective production companies.

This isn't the first time Pitt and Clooney have worked together, of course. The Oscar winners previously starred on screen for three installments of the Ocean's franchise, as well as in 2008's Burn After Reading.

As for why they wanted to wok together this time, Clooney previously joked to People (the TV show!) that "Brad was obviously the cheapest of the actors available."

"He's a friend of mine and we have a really good time together," he added. "I'm really looking forward to it."

The two actors have been snapped this week on set. On Tuesday, the duo also shot scenes while wearing similar layered ensembles, consisting of gray slacks, black leather jackets and shiny black shoes.

As seen in another photo, Pitt wore a teal velour jumpsuit over a white undershirt and white sneakers and carried a yellow Loro Piana cashmere scarf to ward off the chilly N.Y.C weather.

The Babylon star also sported the same newly shorn hairstyle he debuted at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, where his appearance made for more than a few celebrity shoutouts.

Pitt's on-set gritty looks are a departure from the bright, adventuresome wardrobe choices he's made in recent months.

At the August 2022 premiere for his thriller Bullet Train in Seoul, South Korea, the actor wore a pink suit with matching trousers over a low-cut scoop-neck tee, completing the look in pink sneakers.

The previous month, he made a fashion statement by rocking a skirt at the screening of the film in Berlin.

"We're all going to die, so let's mess it up," Pitt told Variety's Marc Malkin at the time.

A few days prior on the press tour, he kicked things off in Paris in a slouchy peach suit with a complementary V-neck and shades.

I think these people need the money. Everyone goes it's not right yet no one has a solution. The government won't help it's own people.
So what is the answer they need that little bit of money so do what they can to survive

Oh, yes, Annemarie, I agree, but wouldn't it be great if the likes of Mr Apple took a trip to see if he could help and maybe even talk to some of these children he's taking the cobalt from and see if with all his billions he could help (a la Bill Gates)?
Or maybe set up and fund a school just like people have done in South Sudan.

Good grief! Why are they so obsessed with Brad's wardrobe? This was like an article for Women's Wear Daily. I guess there was really very little story to this "story". The photos are nice, but the "reporting" is pathetic. 

Also, what's with the super-focus on Brad in their stories about this project? It's as if the reports came from Brad's pr people. George seems to be mentioned almost as an afterthought.

Lizzzy it's the fail they aren't really reporters.

Aw com'on, it's Brad's turn to have the spotlight.  If it was an article with lots of GC photos,  everyone would be happy.

PP - Why not 50/50? They're co-stars. It's not like George is some unknown bit player.

I think that Brad is renaissance man for the publicists at the moment. 

   He and George are supposed to be rivals in this, I believe, and I see that George     is also co-producer and Smokehouse is involved too. 

   The timing works well for the Clooney family too

Thanks. PP. You're right. Lots of nice pictures & videos of them both. Had a good laugh when they wondered if that white get-up was actually Brad's street clothes or wardrobe. I hope it was wardrobe, 'cause it's plug-ugly!

I didn't realize George and Brad were so close in age. I guess it's Brad's baby face. They're both cuties. I hope there's another Ocean's movie in the works.
