Intervista con l’attore americano che mercoledì sera ha visitato il paese



A passeggio in paese non lo si vedeva da anni ormai, ma nel momento più buio della storia recente di Laglio, George Clooney - il famoso attore e regista americano che si trova in vacanza da ormai un mese sul suo adorato Lake Como - ha indossato un paio di scarpe comode e, ieri sera, si è recato sul luogo della frana che ha devastato il borgo. Di cui Villa Oleandra, la sua abitazione, è ormai un autentico faro del mondo del jet set internazionale.

Jeans, polo e qualche macchia di fango addosso, ha posato lo sguardo visibilmente triste sulle macerie e le case ormai compromesse. Addolorato prima ancora che stupito per lo scenario che gli si è parato davanti. Prima è stato in Comune con il sindaco Roberto Pozzi per capire, attraverso le immagini del computer, la gravità di quanto era accaduto, ma poi ha voluto vedere con i propri occhi quel disastro.






Una scena surreale che ha quasi commosso Clooney: se qualcuno poteva avere ancora qualche dubbio dell’amore che l’attore americano prova per Laglio, ora è sicuramente svanito. Si è infatti messo in gioco in prima persona e ha dichiarato pubblicamente di voler dare un aiuto alle persone colpite da questa tragedia: nessun ferito, ma i danni economici sono incalcolabili.

He hadn't been seen walking around the town for years now, but in the darkest moment of Laglio's recent history, George Clooney - the famous American actor and director who has been on vacation for a month on his beloved Lake Como - wore a pair of comfortable shoes and, last night, he went to the site of the landslide that devastated the village. Of which Villa Oleandra, his home, is now an authentic beacon of the world of the international jet set.

Jeans, polo shirts and a few patches of mud on him, he looked visibly sad on the rubble and the houses by now compromised. Sorrowful even before being amazed by the scenario that has appeared in front of him. First he was in the municipality with the mayor Roberto Pozzi to understand, through computer images, the gravity of what had happened, but then he wanted to see that disaster with his own eyes.

A surreal scene that almost moved Clooney: if anyone could still have any doubts about the love that the American actor feels for Laglio, now it has surely vanished. In fact, he put himself on the line and publicly declared that he wanted to help those affected by this tragedy: no injuries, but the economic damage is incalculable.
