It is nice. (Is there no sound or is it just my damn computer again?) I'm assuming the family funded the center. Is it something they've done recently? I wonder what kinds of programs they'll offer - maybe journalism and film making or acting? A focus on the arts - or maybe vocational training for the 21st century?

Donated to the City of Augusta by Nick, Nina, George and Ada Clooney, the Clooney Community Center serves as a multi-purpose meeting space that can be rented out for weddings, parties, corporate events, and fundraisers. Accommodating up to 110 guests, the building is handicap-accessible, has sound system capabilities, and features a small galley kitchen. For more information or to reserve the space for your next function, contact the Tourism Office by e-mailing JHunt@augustaky.com or call (606)756-2183. Due to the COVID-19 GUIDELINES, Center will be CLOSED until further notice.

Googled the center to see if there was more information, but there wasn't. I'm curious to know if it's just a building they rent out or if there will be classes of some sort. I also wonder if any of the Clooney family are involved in the actual operation of the center. Ada's husband was an artist, I believe, so she might be interested in sponsoring some kind of arts program. Just curious.

It sounds like they just rent it out, but maybe someone would be interested in doing more with it? Not sure.
