George Clooney and Amal Clooney are allegedly having marital issues due to his former co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones.

George Clooney and Amal Clooney have faced non-stop rumors about their marriage. One outlet claimed that they were having marital issues again because of his Intolerable Cruelty co-star, Catherine Zeta-Jones.
However, one should take the report with a grain of salt because there are no pieces of evidence to support the claim.

New Idea published a report claiming that Amal Clooney has blacklisted Catherine Zeta-Jones in her husband George Clooney’s circle. A dubious source alleged that George is working on a new script for himself and Zeta-Jones. However, the lawyer begged her husband to work with somebody else.
“Anyone but Catherine!” Amal allegedly said, according to the insider.

“Aside from their history together, Catherine is like a Hollywood version of Amal,” the source added.
“The chemistry between them is electric. Even though Catherine is married to Michael Douglas, Amal does not want her husband cozying up to her much sexier doppelganger on a film set.”
The outlet added that George had eased his wife’s concern. However, the insiders alleged that Amal has a “reason to be concerned.”
“He’s always told Amal to back off when it comes to his work and this is no different so he and Catherine have been talking a lot lately as he fine-tunes this script,” the insider continued.




“Amal might have hit him with an ultimatum because right now he’s not listening to her.”

Rumor debunked

Gossip Cop debunked the report for several reasons. First, it used the headline “George & Catherine’s Shock Affair Bombshell,” but it didn’t cover the alleged affair on its headline.
Second, there are no reputable outlets reporting about George working on a script for any movie.
Third, George Clooney and Amal Clooney are happily married so as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.

Also, George Clooney and Amal Clooney have been plagued with various rumors in the past years. The claim linking them to other celebrities isn’t new.
For instance, there were claims that George and Julia Roberts had an affair. Insiders claimed that they would be together after divorcing their spouses Amal Clooney and Danny Moder. However, that is not happening.
